I don't need to study what happened because not only have I studied it, I have indigenous family and friends and know their views and handed down stories, I grew up as a kid in heavily poor indigenous community and seen it first hand.
My partners grandmother had 2 indigenous babies taken at birth from her first partner before remarrying later.


My point is they are both devastating to their families and the kids impacted one is not worse then the other.

Mate 250 thousand plus is NOT one it is literally 5 times the amount of estimated indigenous taken.

I have empathy for ALL those affected both indigenous and non indigenous. I also can understand the hate that their lands have been conquered and attrocities ascociated.
But given everything being done to help them like 34 billion per year in funding, land returns to traditional owners, every public school has indigenous art shirt and history, a acknowledgement of country every major event and school assembly, their are job placements, indigenous only loan schemes at lowest interest rates, free medical and dental etc any dissent or contrary thought of any kind shot down like you did.
How can you sit there with a straight face and say they are being currently degenerated?

I have a step brother who is indigenous, 2 uncles and an aunty along with their kids my cousins.

That's who the f I am to speak it, again whilst the odd racist comment may happen there is also perceived racism like Millera comment about the white teller asking him for ID when making a withdrawal. It is bank policy to ask all people for ID so not to give out money to wrong people white or black.

Indigenous issues are an endless source of interest to me - but not in the slavish way many follow them - our multicultural society is often touted as the cure for 'white Australia' attitudes.

Those that can truly stomach the ENTIRE truth should make it their business to get out into those 'cultural enclaves' and see both . . .

1 How exclusive they are to those outside of their culture
