WEST Coast has poached strength and conditioning coach Paul Turk from Collingwood as it continues to refresh its off-field team following two years of unprecedented injury struggles.

Turk, who was the Magpies' athletic performance coach for the past two seasons, including this year's premiership campaign, will join the Eagles under new high performance manager Mathew Innes, who was recruited from the Western Bulldogs.

Has anyone seen what times it will be available at the AIA centre next week? Would love to try and head in during my lunch break.

I havent seen times, but I imagine it'll be any time. During open hours.
You have to register though

Shepp is my closest place to see the cup.
But I’d travel the extra, in the pocket rocket, to go to Euroa if they take it here;

To give some clarity, this is about 5 metres high.
And Euroa is the home town of Jamie Elliot.

Lol. Every State and Territory except mine. **** off Collingwood.

They are not even visiting Southern Thailand mate. WTF.
And yet they are able to find me when a membership is concerned.
Is ok though, happy to see it on video.
Eventually back at the AIA Centre which by that stage could be named anything.
The Fcuk centre is appealing. Great underwear.

Heard Craig Kelly interviewed by Wheatley today and someone rang in about taking the cup to Canberra. He said it’ll definitely be going there in February but haven’t locked in the exact details yet.

I find the Cup tour to be a little quaint. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a cool looking trophy… but it’s what it symbolises that I give a shit about, not the metalware itself.

I don’t really care about the cup itself but an event close by where I get to celebrate what it meant would have been nice.

I tend to agree. But then I think about the club’s recent efforts to engage more with the fans, and if it makes people happy to have a selfie taken with the cup - which I assume will happen - then go for it.

Will also be a big deal for many kids, and a big day out for families. Let’s keep the kiddies happy as they will continue to grow our ‘army’. Numbers mean money, power and success in the AFL.

Does anyone know if the 2010 trophy went on tour?

LOL at the only NSW venue being Ingleburn

(Heaven forbid the Lions had won it, and their only Vic venue being Frankston)

It won’t be the only NSW venue. It states straight underneath - “Additional public venue to be confirmed.”

The day before they’re on the Gold Coast.

The day after they’re in Hobart.

They’re not going to be venturing very far from Ingleburn or the airport.

Oh for sure, I mean if you want to see the cup, go for it, whatever does it for you. And then I imagine we’ll have the unfurling of the flag at our first home game in 2024? Again, whatever floats your boat.

It’s the number 16 that matters to me, and without the stinking asterisk!

Fun fact(which probably won't interest a flag spoil sport like you): 1990 marked the first time a male unfurled a Collingwood flag. Traditionally, it had always been the President's wife who did the honours. Big Al changed that. Jock McHale Jr was given the job in 1991. Think Daicos and T Shaw did it in 2011.

Maybe Nick Maxwell this time around? Thorold Merrett would be a nice touch?

Good to see some, erm, blokes given an opportunity after being, ahem, excluded for so long? What!?
