TuddyWould it be too soon for Bucks to unfurl the flag? I'd also be happy with Maxy.
Yes ...but with Peter McKenna.Tuddy
Thanks mateHeard Craig Kelly interviewed by Wheatley today and someone rang in about taking the cup to Canberra. He said it’ll definitely be going there in February but haven’t locked in the exact details yet.

Too soon for mine, I wouldn’t mind Anthony RoccaWould it be too soon for Bucks to unfurl the flag? I'd also be happy with Maxy.
Anyone from the 2002 Grand Final team would be good but Ant. Rocca or the suspended Jason Cloke would be my preference.Too soon for mine, I wouldn’t mind Anthony Rocca
How about Ginny??Anyone from the 2002 Grand Final team would be good but Ant. Rocca or the suspended Jason Cloke would be my preference.
Thought it was Presti?Fun fact(which probably won't interest a flag spoil sport like you): 1990 marked the first time a male unfurled a Collingwood flag. Traditionally, it had always been the President's wife who did the honours. Big Al changed that. Jock McHale Jr was given the job in 1991. Think Daicos and T Shaw did it in 2011.
Maybe Nick Maxwell this time around? Thorold Merrett would be a nice touch?

The day after they’re in Hobart.
They’re not going to be venturing very far from Ingleburn or the airport.

THAT goal umpire?Anyone from the 2002 Grand Final team would be good but Ant. Rocca or the suspended Jason Cloke would be my preference.

Peter better wear a helmet.Yes ...but with Peter McKenna.

The sad thing is that he died a few months before we won the 1990 flag, so the cup was presented by his son.
There's an echo of that in this year's GF, with Peter Moore presenting the cup to Darcy - family connections.
Jack Hamilton
It isn’t often that a footballer is likened to a ‘fire-breathing dragon’. But that’s the tag applied to Jack Hamilton back in 1951 – and few of the forwards he ever lined up against would have argued with its appropriateness. Hamilton, of course, would later go on to run the VFL and become the...forever.collingwoodfc.com.au
