I love Murph and am pleasantly surprised by Frampton but Himmelberg is a better player than both of them (and McStay). He’d be a great replacement for Howe.

Jay Clark reckons that we might give Tarryn Thomas an opportunity for a fresh start. I absolutely cannot see that happening. But I'd consider a deal like the one for Marley Williams!

I think we should look at Armartey from Sydney, no idea if we would have any interest but I believe he is coming out of contract and takes a great mark. Hasn't had a career yet that would cost a fortune in draft picks.
I also wouldn't mind Gresham as a free agent, in our team I think he would really flourish as the outside distributor, I've read people saying we don't need him but he could definitely play midfield and the time is coming where we will need more midfielders

I find that hard to believe.

Talented footballer. Only 23 and we might just believe he's ready to turn the corner. Contracted for 2024 so I'm not sure why North would look to do either Thomas or us too many favours in terms of a trade. Having said that, they may just want him gone and ship him off dirt cheap. Ambivalent on whether we target him or not.

Syd would be keen to keep him with Franklin retiring soon.

They would definitely want him, we would need to convince him to want to come to us, if he wants to leave and not contracted they don't have much power, this is all hypothetical though, he will probably stay at Sydney, I'm just saying I like him as a player

That said, I'm not sure why North Melbourne would want to let him go contracted if they didn't have concerns with him, like we had with Stephenson. Like I said, we can at least make an approach and see what the go is.

The way Mcstay moves I doubt he would be a good defender. He's a plodder who can't even get separation when forward.

I’d be happy with HH and if we ever end up with an excess KPD, then I’d play Moore in the ruck or forward.

Hine has already said recently that we are happy with our ruck stocks, so unlikely we’d be looking at another. Personally with the way Steene is developing I think the club would have the attitude that he’ll be ready to step up by next season if needed.
