Someone posted a rumour that Jhye Clarke has told the Cats that he won't sign another contract with them and wants to be traded to us. Grain of salt.

Hope it's true if only to actually see the Cats not get away with salary cap rorting for once

With Tom Wilson likely leaving at years end, what are our Cat B list plans for 2024?
Too soon for the WA Basketballer in the US
Any cricketers like Zak Evans in the pipeline ?
A number of clubs like Carlton and StKilsa are big on taking Irish players this year apparently

Jyhe Clark only 1 game this year. Unless he played all 22 next season then you'd expect a 3rd rounder would be enough.

Suspect this is just Pies fans having fun and that there's no truth to him wanting out.
He was a top 10 pick from last year. His value isn’t going to plummet that far in the space of 12 months, stop kidding yourself.

Frampton cost a third and he was more on the fringe than Clark, who is young and shows first round potential.

There was a bloke who played for the Cats VFL side George Stephens I would not mind trying to get him as he already has the body for it.
He also looks like he knows how to play, someone on here said just give me george Stephens I will be happy after watching him in action I agree with that sentiment, he looks like a bull in there.
George Stephens???

Agree, thought he was their best player - bit of a worry for the Cats, they lost on Friday night when we were effectively without our best two players (Moore and Naics), they lost badly on Saturday and their best player in the VFL isn't even on the club's list. This year they've currently got a first round and a forth round pick, so not a strong draft hand.

They have no depth, Geelong. Outside their best 22-26 players, it falls away really dramatically. Given their VFL team lost to ours, who are a bunch of kids by over 70 points.

George Stevens played for Vic Country in this years under 18 titles and is expected by some to be drafted in the 20-50 range.
Good player but with mature body is the scope for improvement less than others ?
I’d prefer to get someone in with a body to compete especially as our midfield is ageing rather than someone who’s going to take three to four pre seasons to become AFL ready.

Like 99% Rumors like that

Can anyone make a list of the young fellas, 19-22, who have speed, bulls in the midfield, x factor and potential midfielders that might be up for a trade for this year and next? There are unknowns that I would like to check out and keep an eye on. An excel sheet, maybe?
Finn Callaghan. But every side in Vic would be hoping to have a crack when he's OOC next year.
