They wont let Reef go, or Fin if they can help it.
I can see Carmichael leaving for more opportunity. Bianco and Ruscoe also.
I think that Ruscoe might go, because Ryan has been picked ahead of him for Friday's game.
I rate Ruscoe, but he might want opportunities elsewhere.

Agreed. Seems his papers are stamped. Ruscoe did well on anzac day and has been performing well, but seems they now prefer Ryan.

When we win the flag this year we will have pick 18 but taking out the F&S, academy and North compo (assumed Pick 3 and Sanders) we would only have access to the 24th best player.

Hard to get a gun mid that far back.
Package up picks for Suns pick 4. They need points for academy players.

Very much agree here. I can't see why or how he'd stay.

Don’t blame him at all. And it’s not like our aging midfield. He is competing with the younger brigade of Murphy, Maynard even IQ

They are different players to be honest.
Different as in one is playing seniors this week and the other isn’t? Or different in that one will be on the list next year and the other won’t?

One is Jakob Ryan and one is Trey Ruscoe. They are literally different players is what I assume he means because otherwise they're pretty similar!

I'd think the prospects of getting a dodgy leg up on an NGA deal for Sanders (inside 40) as well as a compo pick as high as 3 for McKay is very unlikely.
More likely Sanders and end of first round for McKay.
George Stevens (as already discussed around here) looks a likely type at around our pick. Decent inside mid of size to look to replace Adams/Mitchell.

Doubt we’re going to hold Fin here against his will considering we have no intention of playing him. Reef maybe we’ll put up more resistance but there’s no spots opening up for him anytime soon either.

Ruscoe, Kelly and Murley are all near certainties to go. Perhaps Begg as well.

Bianco, Carmichael and Macrae are probably seeking other opportunities.
Agree with the first part, I think this is spot on. I’m sure the other three mentioned are looking but I hope Finn stays, our aging mids are getting slower he would slot in nicely to that inside mid spot. Future starting mids, Finn, Nick and Ed Allan. Bobby getting mid time with the bull dozer Beau and as someone mentioned, sorry I don’t know who, imagine IQ in that midfield, what a beast.
I’m not as down on our future players as I thought, our forwards are iffy depending on what the club chooses to do with Steene and Begg key positions or second rucks.

Just one out of left field, I’d be trying to get Eyre onto our main list he’s definitely got promise, kicking needs improvement but it’s not terrible.

Our midfield could fall off a cliff as early as next year.

I would be holding Macrae to his contract and would hope we'd do the same with McInnes.

Outside of the young players who have featured regularly in our 23 these past 2 seasons the likes of Ryan, Allan, McInnes, Macrae and Harrison are the others with the potential to stand up and fill holes if age catches up with our veterans next year.
