  1. H Reid 1
  2. J Walter (GCSA) 2
  3. Z Duursma (Say North compo)

  7. R Sanders (North trying to get as free NGA)
  8. N Caddy 6
  9. E Reid (GCSA)
  10. C O'Sullivan 7
  11. J Croft (WBD F&S)
  12. J Rogers (GCSA)
  13. O Murphy 8
  14. D Wilson 9
  15. W McCabe (Haw F&S)
  16. A Roberts 10
  17. J Leake 11
  18. R Hardeman 12
  19. C Windsor 13
  20. M Edwards (Fre NGA) 14
  21. A Reid 15
  22. H DeMattia 16
  23. K Tholstrup 17
  24. W Green 18
  25. A Moir 19

When we win the flag this year we will have pick 18 but taking out the F&S, academy and North compo (assumed Pick 3 and Sanders) we would only have access to the 24th best player.

Hard to get a gun mid that far back.
Love that problem

Happy to keep topping up with veterans cast out by poor clubs, like Mitchell. Especially in the middle of a flag tilt

Any love for Lewis Melican from the Swans? 26,195cm, 96kg.

And this is why our first rounder has little value.

And this is why our first rounder has little value.
Very keen to see us linked to some names over the next couple of months. I love the draft and the hope around new kids, but our drafting has been middle of the road for a long time. On the other hand our trading for players has been excellent and thats where I'd like our first rounder to be used to maximise value.

Reporting on Gettable, clubs will look to target Trent Bianco, Fin Macrae, Reef McInnes and Josh Carmichael.

Came across as a bit of a Captain Obvious statement without specifics to back who who might be interested.
They might / they might not.
I would image Reef will see a spot for himself in the next year or 2.
Ditto Macrae - but if he wants to explore his options then that's ok.
JC and Bianco are good depth but if they want to go, that's ok.

They wont let Reef go, or Fin if they can help it.
I can see Carmichael leaving for more opportunity. Bianco and Ruscoe also.
Yep.

Carmy, Bianco and Ruscoe are all out of contract.
They will probably have to wait an see if there are list spots and $$ available for them.
If they can get a decent offer elsewhere they would have to have a serious think about it.

Fin and Reef are contracted so another club would have to pay up to get them.

I'd like to keep all of them but that appears unlikely.

Reef definitely stays imo

And we're not gonna lose three midfielders, given that Pendles, Adams and Mitchell are 30 or older, to then start all over again.
And given the draft isn't that deep, there would be no real incentive to do a deal unless it was extra good, which I can't see how it can be.

Yeah, he’s off. He was selling his car on Instagram a couple of days ago. 👀
Mate you’ve got better things to be doing than sleuthing players Insta’s at the moment! That or get back home because we’ve played like busted arses since you left…

Same as Poulter last year

I follow a handful of people and most of them tend to be Collingwood players 😂

I’m hoping the boys scrap through to the GF when I finally can attend a game. Haha

The time-honoured tradition of selling a car prior to being delisted? It's always a giveaway. FMD.
Always a dead giveaway :)

Question is...what he's buying? From where?

Upgrade = He's signed a deal with another club for more $$ (if its from an interstate seller....that's where he's going).
Same type = re-signed with pies
Downgrade = delisted and no interest.

West Coast's list manager was on Gettable a few weeks back. He said that it's unlikely they get involved in the trade period, but if they did it would for players in the early 20s age bracket.

I think Ruscoe would be a decent selection for them on the cheap. He would basically be guaranteed senior game time and gets to head back home.

No way, we are old, and need to get younger pretty quickly, given our long run of misses in the early / mid stages of drafts over the last 5+ years. Very few hits.
