He's a RFA, so Adelaide could match, although they probably wouldn't because the have plenty of defenders who have gone past him.
Given how tight list spots are, I'm not sure we'd want to carry another player for half a season.
We've already got Dean who hasn't played for 2 years, and Kreuger who's had an endless succession of injuries.

Yeah me too. It makes sense though as Dogs are overflowing with forward marking targets. Maybe a straight swap for Ginnivan? I’m don’t want to lose him either but you have to give something to get something and we have Bobby Hill and Harrison already.

How about a straight swap for Fin Macrae, to re-unite those brothers? I’d prefer to keep Ginni, thanks.

As for Kreguer he is better than someone like Weidemann or CCJ.

Whenever I hear “lacks game awareness” it’s an alarm bell. Players without Footy IQ are a liability, and often don’t have enough raw talent to make up for it.

I’m comfortable with what we’ve done with Kreuger and Carmichael and I’d expect us to retain Begg, probably with the mooted changes to rookie list rules for mid year recruits.

I’d be ok with the rest being released.

Edit: and a NO to Ginnivan being traded.

It's the blue sky principal. Some seem to view guys who they haven't seen much of because they haven't been good enough to play much afl as big talents with heaps of development left in them, but guys who've been good enough to have had a decent run in the AFL as finished products. It's silly
