Do you exist to be deliberately antagonistic? The doco features a scene with Hill and his manager. The manager tells Hill that Collingwood have sent an email with the draft contract. The manger shows Hill but given they talk about guaranteed earnings and detail of money, the screen is not shown to the camera for the sake of privacy.
It is literally the moment Collingwood contact Hill and his manager with the contract proposal. Stop trying to muddy the waters or cast dispersions because it just makes you look like a drunken, IPA-sucking, cantankerous fool.

If he still wants to come back to melb at the end of the year, I could see us having another crack. OOC I think? I wouldn't give up our first (that should go to the draft) but 2nd rounder.. though we dont currentlly have one..

At the time, he wasn't worth what they were asking, but he might be by the end of the year. Looked a heap fitter and more involved in the praccy match against us. I think he might still be too pricey for us.
When's Papley out of contract? He wanted to move to Vic previously. He's the one I'd make a really big offer for. Not sure how old he is though.

Looks like he is 25. Contracted until end of 2023. he is prob one of my fav opposition players to watch,

Me too. Whenever he's on screen I just watch him because you know he's going to be moving through where the area where the ball will fall. He's game sense is uncanny.
Probably a free agent at the end of 2023. I think he'll get big offers because he probably creates more goals from 50/50s than anyone else in the league - including the best talls.

Watching the doco I got the impression wrights interest cooled after speaking to McCartney. He either told him they won’t trade him or we would not be sr to give up what they wanted
Dodorio came across looking like a fool again. I suspect he does not have a great relationship with other list managers and does not talk to them directly whereas most would happily pick up the phone and speak to GW
On a side note I was really impressed with Robbie D’Orazio.
