You've completely missed the mark. They're giving him support. Dudes been the sole workhorse for that many years. He can't keep doing it.

Well to get free agents to your club you have to, unfortunately, pay a little above. We aren't the only club that have/ will bring in free agents and pay them above what other players on the list may be on, who have been there and been excellent servants of the club. Its just how it is in the AFL, its a business just as much as it is a sport. I'm sure Checkers has been, and will be looked after the club going forward.

I hope you are wrong. Our midfield is weak and shallow. Replace JDG with Taranto is shuffling deck chairs. Recruit Taranto to play alongside JDG, improves our clearances and midfield quality significantly. Fingers crossed we can bring him in..

A simple check of how you feel about JDG coming back into the side should indicate his importance to us.
We need his spark in the midfield and we need his dynamism in the forward line.
If his head and heart are in it, he’s a keeper imo.

If that were to happen then we might have a fair old trade/free agency period coming up. Who knows.............maybe we have a group at the moment who are prepared to sacrifice for success.

I can't say I've ever really paid that much attention to Taranto. Is he that good?
