FYI both Hawks and Mitchell are open to a trade. Not sure if any clubs are interested though. If Taranto is no longer an option I wonder if we would have interest in Tom Mitchell. Still averages 28d and 5cl p/game. No idea what he'd cost.

I don't think he's played much seniors, he doesn't seem to stand out, they can have him, lolHe was a father son prospect for north and Geelong before he chose north in
2018

Na that's all I've got sorry. Only other bit of info I can give you is that the Hawks are keen on Bruhn and probably get him.I knew they were open to a trade but less sure on expectations of what they'd receive back. Have you heard anything about what Hawks want?
Barry wanted to live in Melbourne after a long career in Sydney. He went into pre season draft which was big back then with a price on his head to get to Carlton. Carlton with their first pick did not taken him and to the surprise of Mitchell and the Blues we took him before their second pick. He was only with us a year and then went to Carlton where he wanted to be.Barry played 7 or 8 games for us in the early 90s on a big deal then went to Carlton. I’m not sure on the details of his departure.
True. Didn’t factor the success part in. But sure Clarko will head hunt some capable seniors to lead they way.Quite possibly. It may depend on what Mitchell's career goals are. $$$ or another chance at success.
He chose North? I guess he needs to work on his decision making
Would love this. I’m friends with his mum; would be hilarious seeing her wearing a Pies jacket instead of her usual Hawks one.If Taranto is no longer an option I wonder if we would have interest in Tom Mitchell. Still averages 28d and 5cl p/game. No idea what he'd cost.
Which itself is disappointing. JDG isn't enough. Those young guys are a way off in development.
Mitchell for Grundy?FYI both Hawks and Mitchell are open to a trade. Not sure if any clubs are interested though.
Pretty sure his Dad hates Collingwood lolThe family owe us a solid after the debacle with his old man.
Thinks he should be playing in the ones and is better than AJ. Not happy with the money on offerSo if destination doesn’t explain why he’s leaving?
What’s his reason?
Perhaps we have cooled because of the terms of $$$ needed to pay Taranto and/or the outlay required via trade to acquire.
Hine made it clear on that podcast a few weeks back is he wanted to take our first pick to the draft...perhaps the club wants to bring in more first round talent on top of what we have managed to bring in the last 2 drafts.
Someone who has been on money with a few things over the last couple of year. hoping he is wrong this time thoughWho did you hear that from?
Hated us when we ruined his plans to get to Carlton. Just wanted to leave us as soon as he could , which he did after one season.Pretty sure his Dad hates Collingwood lol
7 or 8 of the most forgettable games played by big fish recruitsBarry played 7 or 8 games for us in the early 90s on a big deal then went to Carlton. I’m not sure on the details of his departure.
Option C - Taranto's manager floating Collingwood as a suitor to pump up his contractOr the media have exaggerated our initial interest & are now adjusting to the real situation?
I can’t imagine Wright saying last week…yes let’s go full tilt to get Taranto…then a week later yer, nah, let’s not.
Option A - Wright has changed his mind in the past week
Option B - media speculation is lurching from one situation to another because they have no f#cken idea.
With the flip of a coin we could just as easy have finished outside the 8. You just don’t normally win games we’ve won with some of the midfield stats we’ve lost and conceded. I’m concerned if we go into next season without an additions to the midfield we could jsut as easy drop outside the 8 again. I’m extremely underwhelmed by mcstay and question what he will bring. Adams isn’t getting any younger and the amount of footy his missed is a huge concern. We def have a chance to steal one but long term success we need some big additionsI'm sure we do and I support that. My thinking is that we are a very good team atm however we are being held back by our clearance midfielders. They need more support. If we don't improve here we won't progress. I don't think we can expect much more from our current players so we need to look at trades.
Grundy for Cats 1st and Narkle?
