Rantall was delisted after finishing his two year initial contract.
Was it? thought it was after one year ah well.
Imo had more going for him then others we kept.

Go and do a poll on the main board with neutrals and see.
Thilthorpe had an excellent debit season better then anything Henry has produced for example.
Henry is there about with them but not sure replaces any of them. Maybe 7 to 11 ranges.
Most of them were top 10 draft picks Loki, so you're equating Ollie to a top 10 talent now?
Yeah I know Barrass and Berry weren't, but maybe they should have been!
There's o such thing as neutrals 9n the main board.Go and do a poll on the main board with neutrals and see.

In and around being key. The names are dubious because you were responding to a post posing the question, name 10 players from his draft class who are ahead of Henry. Several of those names could be argued to not have performed as well as he has so far by position.Who?
Cox and Perkins have shown good signs both very good first years.
Thilthorpe had a great debut season and will be a key pillar.
Ugle Hagan will continue to grow.
Bruhn wanted by multiple clubs.
Holmes developing and playing well in a top side.
G-Barras continues to develop as a 2nd year KPP.
Henry has talent but also some decent flaws. He is in and around the names listed.
Would be an absolute pluck from nowhere if he came over and earnt a spot, Good talls are hard to find these daysNot sure he ever declared he'd come over but we'd be silly not to ask the question if he was keen. Was in the discussion for at least the top 5 in his draft year before choosing cricket.
I’m really bullish on Macrae, personally. I think that with continuity at senior level and with proper midfield minutes, he will be a fixture in our 22. Another pre-season in the gym will be important for him. Based on last weekend and previous senior showings, I can understand your reservations, but I am pretty confident about him. Fingers crossed I’m right.I'd love to be proven wrong but he just doesn't have it for mine.
If you're a believer - obviously I hope you're right and I'm wrong but that's just me.
Grundy has little trade value since we're pushing him out.
They are pushing him out due to the deal, If a club says they'll take majority of his deal for a 3rd rounder. They'll do it.This isn’t true
Things aren’t like 2020….
Was just about to write exactly the same thing. This is a common myth. He kicked a nice goal on the run, and did some ok things, but only touched the ball a handful of times. It was an ok debut, but he wasn’t even close to looking like a world beater.
Personally, I'd have his performance to date as above most of those guys. Most of them are probably still more valuable though as they project to key roles, whereas Ollie may end up a bit in-between.Who?

Second best young player lol, Get a grip .yeah you would think the fact that Billy can't get a game in one of the worst teams in the league this season would be a red flag. but apparently not. I hope it's Hine (obviously a good judge of talent) making the calls on the likes of McStay, Frampton and Hill. They have all been so underwhelming, it's a bit frightening.
Meanwhile, we could be shipping off A-grade ruckman Grundy or even A- to B+-grade mid/forward DeGoey. Don't even want to think about the unsigned second-best young player on our list in Ollie Henry. We seem to be sleepwalking into this so I hope there is some sort of method to it all.
Oh well, I guess all that's left is to leave that to the the pros and focus on the huge games ahead

True. I could have worded that better. I was thinking of Maynard and Quaynor’s strength one v one and marking ability when raising my concern. I like how Ruscoe is going just think of him as a different type to those two at the moment.Ruscoe is always selected as the fall back for HBF so not sure how it can be said that no one’s being developed.
No club has $1m lying around to just take on.
So if we pay a portion it won’t be a third rounder
He had more going for him, but also more going against him. Is he still playing footy? Or did he switch back to basketball? Was it? thought it was after one year ah well.

Convincing Grundy to go to that place, he’d need 1.5M minimum paAccording to the media Dons have 3 million spare, there’s one?

Doesn’t have what?I'd love to be proven wrong but he just doesn't have it for mine.

It was an example champ. We won't be getting a first or anything with substance for himNo club has $1m lying around to just take on.

The inability of supporters to realise we have Begg and that they will bring in another ruck with Grundy going.I can see the abuse on the boards if we lose Grundy and we get smashed in the Ruck every week for years. It’s not as if we have emerging talls. I don’t rate Cameron and Cox is ok but that’s it. Just so we all remember, Grundy is our leading player in clearances, is rated in the top 10 of the best players in finals over the past 6 seasons. Personally I want him to stay because if he goes we’ll struggle for a long time to replace him. We just keep giving them away, Witts, Lynch, Grundy.
Who knows, I think he’s just young playing a marking role in a forward line with poor delivery…he takes many years to master that skill. I think we have to keep him.Maybe he needs a year in defence to learn defensive skills before going forward again?
It’s a relative term, for sure! But when you continuously see a player bullied, intimidated and forced out of a 50:50 that to me is soft by AFL standards. Are they tough enough with their skill sets to make the grade, yes they are. Are they tougher than the average punter, yes they are. There are posters here who call WHE soft. It’s not a term I like but I understand what they’re suggesting. Poulter makes him look like Gavin Brown by comparison.
Don’t forget they have each had two COVID impacted development years…one of those was non existent.Tyler isn't that big bodied though he is a tall mid but his frame is not big. Needs more meat on his bones.
I suppose we gave Callum 6 seasons only fair to offer his brother the same before we work it out.
I agree with Kelly one more season to show what he has, given most of his development has been injured and bogs take longer. Thought he did some good stuff with not so good stuff in the final.
