I doubt he will cost a first rounder after the failed Beams/Gibbs deals, teams just won't pay up for an old mid now surely

That was 2 first rounders for them ..
I’m only suggesting one first rounder here and that’s overs for mine…

Hawthorn aren’t going to offload him for a second or third rounder …

If they are happy to take our 3x 3rd rounders for example no problem but let’s be real here…would you release a player like that for nothing?

We need an accumulator in the middle, but I'd rather target Parish next year
Need a clearance winner not an accumulator

They want to clear room for mids to play apparently, I am surprised to hear he didnt play much centre bounce last season. What's the point of keeping him if you aren't gonna use him properly?

Dees first pick will be Freo's pick 14, honestly should ask for Jacob Van Rooyen as well who is a Mihocek 2.0

After Darcy and Amiss he was the next KPP

If Grundy does go then we have

Our first round = 15 Freo first round = 14

With JVR, McStay, Frampton

We can use our first rounders on a FB and a gun MID
Don’t you mean our first = 18?

Think picks between 10 and 20 have similar profiles as in games played at afl.

Might be better off getting pick 14 bris, pick 15 freo and our pick.

Something for Hine and his merry men to figure out is a pick 10 better then 3 picks in mid to late teens in this draft?

Typically I favour low over quantity but not sure what's available at say 10 is better then the 3 others combined.

Maybe 2 for 10 and keep 1.
We might be keen on Cadman & Jefferson, but some of the quality talls have slipped down the list a bit - guys like Keeler & Lemmey.
Both of those might be available in the late teens of the draft.
I wouldn't think Cadman would be available at our first pick unless we trade up - even then there are no guarantees.
Would you take both Keeler & Lemmey over one of the other two?

Mitchell a big No!

We are looking at moneyball type players in McStay- Hill - Frampton ( good move)

Just need another big name midfielder to round it off + young developing players, 2023 looking good.

How is Tom Mitchell not a big name midfielder?

Mitchell averages 5 clearances per game and puts on a lot of defensive pressure. He's the workhorse we need in and under to allow Pendles De Goey ect to be more outside

It's about time they read my posts
The real question is, will Carl’s truth change if it turns out his messiah Wright is indeed looking at bringing Titch in… 🤔

They are chasing top compo..
It’s not a salary dump

They will want a first rounder…

Heads should roll if we even entertain this.

I’m certain it’s clickbait considering the article is “Collingwood is one of the clubs alerted to the situation”.
They’ve been trying to push him out for 2 years now. Not sure how they’d figure they’re in a position to get top compo for him…

By Cameron “quality” I mean the quality at the time of his recruitment not his current quality. So it would be a Ruckman lacking maturity ( or similar non physical issue) as was claimed to be the problem with him at the time he was at the Swans.

Of course a player comparable to Cameron today, is beyond our a $300k budget
When we recruited Cameron there was a chorus of WTFs, because he wasn't getting a game at the Swans.
He's turned out to be a bloody good pickup.
He'd most likely get a game at the Swans now.

Yes. Keeler ranked at 29 and Lemmey not in the top 30. I wouldn't be surprised if we take Keeler with our first pick. Lemmey was in the conversation for pick 1 last year, both would be a steal.

Mitchell can't run, gets no attention because he can't hurt you with his possessions and the Hawks have been trying to dump him for years with no takers, ask yourself why.
