Rookies were on $85k base 3 years ago. It would be pushing around $100k by now.The first $80k or so of each rookie contract is salary cap exempt I believe
Not yet
He's better than FramptonAh, October. The only time of year when other teams cast offs become superstars who are auto best 23 for us
Okay. So LDU hasn't said he's interested in St Kilda. Just that St Kilda are interested in him..
Just need Nick to ask Sheezel to bring Luke along to their training sessions over summer
Not sure about thatHe's better than Frampton
Yes. And it would be close to $100k now. Rookie base wage is exempt from all rookie salaries. Is that definitely true for someone delisted while contracted to the senior list?

Not the first and won’t be the last player to keep growing after they were drafted. Moore was 199cm when drafted and grew to 203.How did Murphy's height get to 192cm lol. I think we drafted him at 188cm and then somehow willed him into KP height.
Debatable.He's better than Frampton
I'm not all that enthused either, but at least he'd be another option for different types of opponents.Debatable.
From the current CBA (2023-2027-AFL-and-AFLW-CBA.pdf): https://www.afl.com.au/policiesYes. And it would be close to $100k now. Rookie base wage is exempt from all rookie salaries.
Yep, 36 rather than 38 on the senior list basically saves the overs you pay for a free agent.Rookies were on $85k base 3 years ago. It would be pushing around $100k by now.
Salary cap.I can't see how collingwood could be ok with re-rooking ash johnson over taking someone like tomlinson .
The only accurate measurements taken these days are at the draft camp. The official AFL heights are supplied by the players themselves. Not the first and won’t be the last player to keep growing after they were drafted. Moore was 199cm when drafted and grew to 203.
Outside of Mitchell we don't have many In and Under TypesI think Long filled a hole this year when we were at our worst with injuries. Assuming we are healthy next year, and with our new recruits, I can’t see Long adding anything to the side.
I expect him to be the unlucky one and Reef survives.
Pretty much surplus to needs with Membrey coming on board. Such a bloody shame as Ash has all the talent in the world just no drive to use itAdelaide may snap up Johnson
Every group has a mate just like thatSt Kilda are like an unsuccessful Romeo at a nightclub
They approach everyone to come on board and go home empty handed
On the money TD.Outside of Mitchell we don't have many In and Under Types
Sorry, you spelled “buildings” wrong?Apparently now one of the top three tallest barristas in Victoria.
There's a fair few across the AFL every year.I’m not sure why there’s so much talk around Markov and AJ. We’ve been delisting and re rooking players for years now. Unless something unexpected happens then I imagine they will both be with us next year
The bloke has sacrificed being a 30-40 touch a game Brownlow winner to be a 20-25 touch workhorse shovelling it out to the Daicos boys, Crisp etc. I know hes getting on but fully fit hes extremely important to our midfield mixOn the money TD.
Since losing Taylor, and Mitchell injured most of the year, having no-one with a hard scone in and under left us
very one dimensional in the middle in some cases.
It's mostly considered an unwritten rule between clubs not to snake players being transferred, but I think it'd be a different story if you put the word out that you were okay with them going elsewhere other clubs would be willing to consider them on their merits. There's a fair few across the AFL every year.
Gold Coast lost Greenwood to North that way - I don't think there's been any others who've moved club as a result of this common practice.
