Have had a bit to do with Andy aka 'Bucket'. He is a great fella and likes to stir the pot a bit. Really knows his footy though and has been in the game a while. Clearly his stirring has worked here....

KB did the Same

We have 26 for starters.

Secondly it is unders for a former top 10 pick who only hasn't played due to injury not due to being a poor selection like Watts/Toumpas/Roach for example.

If Freeman went into the ND he would be selected well before pick 18, he has been cleared of any dmg to the hammies by not just 1 club medico team but 2 clubs medicos.

He still has all the same potential as that 18 yo but he now comes with 2 years worth of player development into AFL footy and Systems.

Elite Speed
Elite Endurance
Captaincy material
High work rate (check out the footage of his preseason camp)

On top of this Saints offer him a 1 mil deal over 3 years you don't offer that to a 2nd round pick.

They are not only confident he will not have further issues but that contract suggest they are confident he will fulfil his potential.

We are being arse reemed no lube.

We're paying Greenwood $400,000 a year and he only cost us pick 25.

A early second round selection for Freeman is the best we can expect I'm afraid.

P.S-Who are the club medico teams you are referring to?

If a certain poster on here is to believed our club has genuine concerns over his hamstring going forward.

Freeman for pick 24 (Saints)
Seedsman for pick 22. 58 (GC)
Pick 7 and our second rounder next year for Treloar. (GWS)
Three way trade, Kennedy, Young, Toumpas - Collingwood's pick 58 for PA's third, pick 46.
Oxley and pick 24 for Aish and pick 39.
Go to the bears James Aish thread is you want to giggle ;)

To be honest I've got very little time for Terry Wallace however I think he actually hit the nail on the head with his trade:

Saints pick 5 -> Essendon
Carlisle -> Saints
Freeman -> Saints
Ess pick 23 -> Coll

Not bad but is Carlisle seriously worth pick 5?

Sorry is essendon throwing in 23 as well.

That is fair.

His fav club has so many spoons, no wonder he is good at stirring.

The Treloar deal holds no interest for me whatsoever at the moment. Because it is DONE, he will be a kick arse pie next year.
What I am really interested in now is Aish. If we get both of these kids this trade period I will be one very happy man.

Also heard a rumour (not really just making it up, more of a gut feeling) that Collingwood has a big surprise up its sleeve.

I'm banned form the drafts forum because of a trade proposition I made, hint is in the post you quoted. ;) I'm not aloud, I think I might be right though, I might have owned, nailed that thread.
Oh I posted using a reference to the soft cuddly creature only a day ago . Beng took the bait . Both my and his posts were deleted 10 min later but I can still post. Probably in your case you overdid it and they couldn't bear it any longer ;)

As news emerges of a meeting between James Aish, his manager Liam Pickering and the Brisbane Lions, it throws Crows CEO Andrew Fagan’s much talked about interstate dash into a new light.
When the Crows’ Andrew Fagan and Alan Stewart were spotted at Adelaide Airport on Wednesday night, it triggered speculation they were on their way to meet with a prospective coach…

But the speculation took a twist when it turned out the pair were on their way to Brisbane, not Perth as many had guessed.

And now Brisbane’s James Aish is meeting with the club about his future…

“Interesting that we had the Adelaide footy club in Brisbane last night,” Michelangelo Rucci said on FIVEaa. “Do we connect the dots?”

Aish has requested a trade to Collingwood. [Barrett just said so].

Midfielder James Aish has informed the Brisbane Lions that he wants to be traded.

Talent Acquisition and Retention Manager Peter Schwab met today with Aish’s manager Liam Pickering, who said the 19-year-old wanted a trade to Collingwood.

Brisbane Lions CEO Greg Swann said the Club remained committed to keeping Aish, and he would not be traded.

“We understand his position but the Club has no intention of trading James,” said Swann. “That’s all we have to say on it right now.”

Midfielder Aish, the No.7 pick from the 2013 NAB AFL National Draft, has played 32 senior games in his first two seasons.

Last week, Brisbane Lions Football Director Leigh Matthews said: “James Aish will either be playing at the Lions or he'll be going into the draft, he won't be traded, that Iguarantee you."

And. Here. We. Go.
