Howe can play wing & Lennon can slot into half forward.

Not good as a backman and not great foward. I'd prefer to persist with white. His numbers are much better than Howes. We have Elliot for speccies.

I don't see this being a Varcoe type situation in that he'll come to us and surprise us with his hardness, defensive pressure and silky skills. I just see a guy who will be taking whites place as a major whipping boy.

Nah, I disagree. When Howe was good, he was real good. Think he will be happier in a winning side. Don't know why you are thinking about Howe as a White replacement, White is a third tall 196cm, Howe is a medium Forward 190cm

I'd consider that. They are searching for s back up and long term replacement for Maric. Witts doesn't need to leave Melbourne (which he is reported to have an issue with). We then go out and pick up a mature delisted FA ruck as Grundy back up and hope that Cox and the new boy Wyatt show improvement moving forward.

Lennon has class and a good goal sense. Lennon, Aish and Shaz from the top 12 in that draft would be gold. Forget about that bloke picked at 10 though.
