The choice was between a constitutional monarchy and elected president.

I think the royal family is trash, but even I'd prefer the monarchy over the circus of presidential election.
Yes it's a skewed poll.

I reckon most sensible republicans want the president to be appointed not elected.

The Roy Morgan research has an option to fork out $10,000 for a deeper dive into the demographics of their research.

I had it on hand and discovered that 85% of the men in favour of a constitutional monarchy like to wear lingerie under their day-to-day work clothes.

66% of the women who support the monarchy have chronic self-esteem issues and are waiting for a prince --preferably not one of the perverted ones, if possible-- to save them from obesity.

Don’t knock it until you try it.

Or no president

The Chief Justice of the HC can do all the significant things needed

Parliament Executive Judiciary

The best GGs are ex-HC judges anyway

Feeling for Harry today

Seemed to have fought with determination and competence in Afghanistan

(suspending judgments of the ethics and efficacy of that war)

No military uniform for him at granny’s last knees-up

Meanwhile, Chazza and Baldy are frocked and medaled like a Congo dictator and didn’t see action

Andrew, who did serve, is allowed to wear his Vice Admiral (apt name) clobber

Chaz has to get over Di played around - embrace your Ranga

Di was understandably annoyed from the outset when Charles took a photo of Camilla on honeymoon 1.

Di might have plotted rangaville stuff very early on

In terms of Military service, most of the Royals have given it a decent crack. Anyone who flies a chopper, whether in rescues or combat, is brave enough - so Andrew, Willie and Harry get a pass. Not sure about Chucky as he actually crashed a plane. Eddie found it all a bit too hard - he pulled the plug on the military when he discovered "theatre of war" wasn't what he imagined.

Anne would be the one I would trust with my life. Give her a good horse and she would save the day.

Anne's roots have been traced back to Boadicea

Natural beauty - no wonder Bobby Menzies melted !

Even the malcontents Vicky Park and JB1975 can't deny this

I give up. Please count me in. I'm now an avowed monarchist. Referring to Bob Menzies was the last straw. How could I resist?

I have nothing nice to say about this post. Nothing.

My feelings will remain unexpressed.
