how many premierships have u won again??

Exactly. Been there (to watch 'em) and celebrated with my club TWICE !! unlike yourself (infact I was at Vic Park in 1990 after the GF with friends)

so what about the number. It's LIVING it that really matters. You can talk all you like about your clubs history. Means jack if you don't live it.

i dont see any other team IN HISTORY who have won 4 in a row :)

Your just jealous that we have history and you dont

Seems you dont read to much HISTORY then do you!!

Since playing its first game in 1870,
Port Adelaide Football Club hold an Australian record of 36 SANFL premierships including six in a row and achieve the honour of being Champions of Australia on four occasions....1954, 1955, 1956, 1957, 1958, 1959

6 > 4

Shhhhhhhhh! As a villa supporter you're not supposed to say THAT! ;)

Co-incidently Sammy D, our boys had a RIPPER 3-0 WIN over the black n'white magpies just last week. :) See, everything is alright. The sad fact remains with all PIE supporters. :D

No surprise to see the Black n'white fighting amongst themselves either :D

Bowyer is a troubled soul. Serves him right to get sent off. I'd smack my teammate in the chops if he turned on me also.

Are you really looking forward to ANOTHER Telstra Dome lesson from the pies against North Kangaroos Melbourne whatever it is you are called now....??

Can you guys even afford to spell LEXUS????

OK so lets dismiss history then - nobody has won ANY flags in the present or the future - so what do you have again????

they've even got a tunnel now

Re:

The AFL have asked for nominations for the greatest moment in Australian Football history.

Collingwoods Four Consecutive AFL Premierships - a league record - has to be a fair chance - im putting it forward as a nomination.

Anyone beat that????

We did it before you Johnny Come Latelys did...
1891, 1892, 1893, 1894

But we did it BETTER AND LONGER 1954, 1955, 1956, 1957, 1958, 1959

Can you show me in Collingwoods History SIX in A ROW..............na didnt think so!!

Re:

Hey Zeke, have you got something photoshopped for Collingwood fans who start threads like this? If the rest of BigFooty is supposedly obsessive, then Collingwood fans have to be the compulsive side.

Yeah if you count those you have to count Port's 35 premierships or whatever it is.
Well then what do we count for WCE, Fremantle and Adelaide if we are including SANFL flags? It's still a ridiculous argument and we should include VFA flags if we're are counting flags from the next grade of football.

Yeah, against quality sides such as Nar Nar Goon. :D

BTW wasn't Collingwood's 4 in a row when they had that ridiculous '2nd chance' rule? I remember reading it was something like that, or the lightning premiership...some rubbish like that. Diminishes the acheivement significantly. Hawthorn's 7 consecutive Grand Finals is far more impressive.

the AFL is the same competition as the VFL. It was simply renamed. The SANFL is, and always has been a sh*tpot little competition that doesn't compare to the VFL/AFL.

Also, collingwood fans, get over it. how can it be the greatest moment if none of you even saw the pies play back then, let alone video footage?

Cough. Port Adelaide did, but then won two more. 6 in a row but pre AFL. Brisbane are the champions with 3 AFL trophies.
