What's a 'roughy'? I mean - apart from Tarks, they're all a bit rough.
I'm holding out for a hero..........

Why is Swan out of the equation?take that back
pendles is my choice.. since swan, dids and heater are out of the equation!
or swan!it will be pendlebury we all know its the right choice
Sorry guys but there is really not one player on the list who stands out as captaincy material. Fraser is far too soft and will never cause any physical damage on the ground; he has never taken a game by the scruff of the neck and inspired the team. Pendlebury is still learning the game and I have grave questions about his physical toughness. Maxwell is simply not good enough to be an AFL captain; he needs to concentrate on getting back to being a really consistent defender and help his fellow defenders. Finally, Cloke drops his head too often and tends to wander far and wide to get kicks on the wings a la Tarrant.Pendles and Cloke as a 2nd choice.
If it is really a 2 horse race between Fraser and Maxwell, then Fraser has my vote.
i ll be surprised if the skipper is named tomorrow. it took them til the start of the season proper last season to announce a captain.
i reckon its out of pendlebury, fraser, maxwell
what are peoples thoughts on harry obrien? i think he could be at least in the leadership group
