The fewer games that remain on FTA, the less likely any of them will be our games unless we are flag favourites.

I imagine the idea of points could be to help us trade in more experienced players in a swap for points? For example:

Brisbane need points for Ashcroft
We need a key defender so ask for Harris Andrews (won't happen just using it as an example)
We send them 1800 points (equivalent of around pick 5) to use on Ashcroft without having to burn all their picks
No other team gets their picks pushed back for us

Many ways you can be creative with points and could trade for more experienced players to us
