yes the old statistical anomaly of using average where mean is more suitable.

To go full maths nerd, mean is the average (add up all values, divided by number of values) median is the middle value when lined up from smallest to largest, mode is the most commonly occuring value in the sample.

Rebuild would be further along if we kept Billy Hartung by.

Was built for the modern game. We delisted him to use players like Taylor and Dumont on the wings

Should have been given the caleb daniel role before caleb daniel. His defensive side may have lacked but so does Hall.

I tend to agree. Hartung was great when he played well.

Those running goals that really only Lazz has replicated since.

He came to us with a reputation as a soft wuss and actually put himself on the line repeatedly. Like Sleevo has in the last few games.

I think Hartung made a tackle that actually broke him tho. It was in the last senior game he played for us. He may have come good afterwood given some time, but the rumours about his dad getting involved in his career may be true as well so he never got that time.

Very true. Next week he will drop a chest mark , kick into the man on the mark , miss some easy goals and he will be back in the pack. The media are as fickle as some supporters.

Always had a lot of time for him, he'll rarely kick a bag but he almost always provides a contest which was something North sorely lacked last week. Does a lot of the hard (& fair) stuff too which is something you can't say about a lot of GWS players.

I take your point, but Jordan Dawson is one of the best dozen or so players in the league this year.
Moving him to the midfield has been the difference maker in the centre.

Than foot is what we were hoping mckenkie would heve turned out as.

If we were rebuilding at the end of 2016, then Brad Scott wouldn't have gone to the board in early 2019 with the plan to rebuild. That's what got him the sack. The fact that he had the opportunity to rebuild at the end of 2016 with the board's support but instead, he sold them on the idea that he could top up with Dusty and Kelly and have another crack. Our rebuild didn't start until 2019 or 2020 because that's when we finally realised that we were rubbish.

He specifically used the word "reset" to suggest we weren't rebuilding but really we were. Over the end of the seasons 2016-2018 we turned over 30 or more players. 2018 we had players like Jed and Maj suddenly break out and JZ kicked about 40 goals as a reinvented forward.

We genuinely should have made finals that year too.

But at the same time Brad showed no aptitude for rebuilding. Its like he didn't understand the idea of allowing young guys to play, fail and learn from it.

As much as everyone is gushing over Gather around, if you actually weren’t in SA it was pretty much the same as any other footy weekend. 18 Teams playing 9 games.

I get the concept is a money spinner for the state and good for the club coffers, which is great, but it has been made out to be the greatest event on earth LOL!

Totally agree. Just another gimmick. Just one that worked. No flipping way I’m heading over there. Place and people are downright weird. They really do hate vics, the feeling is mutual and they really are ultra, ultra weird. Like heavens gate weird. Should fence off the state tbh.
