Unfortunately this is spot on. Mckay out of contact end of 2023 and not one person in the media has suggested he should stay. That would mean within 12 months have lost JHF and Mckay. Next year Simpkin, Larkey. Bull and Powell out of contact, while i dont think we will lose all it would be unlikely all 4 stay unless there is drastic improvement. It is worrying, way i see it we have a year and a half to turn it around and be able to sell a reason to stay.
Those 4 wont go anywhere.

Kornes probably wanted to have a crack at Cunners for his weight, but in a rare moment of clarity, realised he would have been absolutely pilloried if he did.

Honestly didn't see a lot wrong with the clips that he showed, half of the clips wouldn't have changed if he were 5-10kg lighter, weight was not an issue.

Didn't stop him attacking Sonja a few months back.

You are dreaming, why would McKay stay?
Go and count the number of ex-North players currently on the lists of other Clubs
How many played Firsts on the weekend (and don't count the Cry baby, he was never one of us)? I know Ladhams, Amon, Frampton, Howard, Wingard and Impey all played on the weekend.

na, come back Bevoman and tell us who wanted out from North and played AFL on the weekend. How do the numbers stack up to the 6 ex Port players that wanted out of your shit stain of a club. Just cause you had a convicted wife beater convince the biggest flog in the AFL to come to Port doesn't mean you should go around dissing other clubs. It makes you look like a right nob.

A lot of clubs go after a lot of players.

It wouldn’t take long - setting Horne aside because he felt he was above being drafted and contributing to the club that chose him, recent ex-North players mostly don’t stay in the AFL.

Should have photos of Corne Francis up in the club rooms for motivation
And witches hats everywhere.

Orange ones from roadwork sites, little one from training. Actual witches hats. The lot.

Untrue:

Edit: apologies thought you were referring to the other AFL (Australian Flipping League)

Games played by ex-North Melbourne players in 2023: 19

Games played by ex-Port Adelaide players in 2023 for Hawthorn: 19

Games played by ex-Port Adelaide players in 2023 for other clubs: at least 20 (I stopped counting at that point)

Might be time for some puff pieces to lift public morale.

A bit of positive messaging from the CEO wouldn't hurt either?

I agree and spoke with my inner sources and they agreed and here is the article on the club website.

We're not panicking

Well the season started off with an Afghanistan bang, two victories in a row and we were flying. al clarko was high-fiving the Eagles & Dockers diving. And we were in the 8. Life was exactly how we expected it to be under al clarko.

Life in Kabul circa 1960's 1682991637339.png Before text messages where the likes of TT had to write down his thoughts and deliver them personally to a group of young ladies. Simpler times one would agree.

Of course since rd 2 the wheels have been stolen, not saying it involves TT's friends of course. We saw Simpkin and LDU injured and lost momentum. But through adversity we managed to get some games into Phillips before we omitted him for shite form.

We rushed back our star recruit CCJ who had been woeful at VFL level to help protect young bones boy Charlie. Of course we're all chuckling that it was a kick from CCJ that was weak that led to Charlie snapping in half again. Charlie has bigger fish to fry as he was seen taking drugs on the field and failed the subsequent doping test. The AFl integrity unit wants to make a stand and will we believe hand down a harsh penalty.

Caroline Wilson will have an article up shortly detailing the case.

The boys have been in great form on the track this week with CCJ backing a 7/1 outsider. We feel that is proof enough that he is fit.
With so many options it will be a difficult task picking 22 for our next match against the Saints.

Charlie is still a chance of playing will depend on the integrity unit of course, there has been some heated discuss as to whether Charlie would be better than CCJ even if he's requires to be strapped to a goal post for the entire match.

Big ruckman Free= the willy, was banging down the door again, it is a pity he can't actually kick the ball but at North we don't discriminate

Doors being banged down in Adelaide 1682993043954.png as the crowd flock to training during our recent trip to South Australia. As you can see all the pies were sold out.

So while there has been the occasional Kabul style bump in the road, we feel that we are headed in the same direction, the only real concern is the speed we are travelling and of course the current trajectory.

Bloody spirals as we darn well say.

Is that the full list? That's not really that impressive. 8/11 of these were fringe players that were delisted or traded cheaply and of those 8 only Mason Wood has actually become a decent player.
