Geez that was a good watch. The boys handle this stuff really well.
I love that they’re basically a package deal. Drafted together, interviews together both with the club and externally.

I don’t really enjoy JB as a commentator so I avoid MMM game calls, and I don’t listen to this show normally so I don’t know if he always does it, but it warmed my heart to see and hear him being so proudly a North Melbourne person in this interview.

JB and Marty always go in to bat on MMM for north but i agree , JBs gameday commentry is cringeworthy.

I agree and I've got to admit since Clarko has been on board JB & Kingy have been more parochial and others like wreck-em Ralphy have been in our corner somewhat.

Just shows you how much clout he has. Even Ralphy is championing a PP for us which is unheard of..

I'd say sometimes JB goes into bat for us, it's been a bit more prevalent recently. Other times he's just been happy to go along with the blokey bullshit.

MMM commentary is for the toilet.

The leadership brought by the young blokes lifted the older players.

I guess that sinks home the message that it is their club now.

It also illustrates how much the leadership lacks in…..leadership.

If the club kept out of politics we would not have our new facilities and planned upgrade.

Didn't hear anyone complain about that.

We needed to comment on the 'voice' vote. The North identity is about bridging cultures and gender etc. It is not about 'othering' - which is what a no vote implies.
