One of the best Back Chat eps, definitely worth a watch. A few Pagan and North stories

^^Just a ripping bloke Spider and a very good player for North. The story of him selling candy 5 times in one play and then putting his hand up to apologise to Dennis and the crowd roaring was gold. Thanks for posting 👍

Cornes’ five

1 - Errol Gulden (Sydney)

2 - Luke Davies-Uniacke (North Melbourne)

“This is a risk because he needs to play 20-plus games and that hasn’t been easy for him to do.

“If North can win eight to nine games, and no one is taking votes off him yet. He explodes, he stands out and some of the football that he played last year…

“I think he’s going to be a vote magnet this year.

“Something a little bit different, and it’s a bit risky with his body and perhaps them not winning enough games, but I’ve got LDU.”

1 – Charlie Curnow (Carlton)
2 – Jesse Hogan (GWS)
3 – Max King (St Kilda)

4 – Nick Larkey (North Melbourne)

“I don't see North Melbourne playing finals, but he could have a big home and away season.

“Jee if they could sneak in and get one final, it'd be Nick Larkey.

“He kicked 71.24 last season in a team that won three games. So if North Melbourne actually have a better season and win more than double that with a better midfield supply, I think he could kick 90-plus this season.

“He just won't kick the 100 in the finals because I don't think North Melbourne will get there.

“But I’ve got Nick Larkey at four.”

Also pretty obvious that wardlaw didn't appreciate lmacs dig at him.

Seemed to be a bit of a sharpness to that relationship.
I caught that as well. Lmac is lucky to have a spot let alone be co-captain. Cringe to think he may be alienating the actual talent of the team. Always gonna be an issue when a team has no decent talented veterans to lead. I couldn't see Pendlebury telling a young fella to eat a treat like a dog

Australian culture? No. It was a statement saying we should reconsider our national day. A day which is being respected by fewer and fewer people.as a day which unifies all people, it has failed. If it ever succeeded. So it’s done.

You can emote all over the internet, but they are your feelings.

Enough with this hyperbolic rubbish about kicking Australian culture to the curb. They are your emotions and the club is not obligated to appeal to your feelings.

You can still wave your flags and all that but the club is within its rights to advocate for another day.

club should concentrate on one thing only, making the north Melbourne team a winning team nothing else.....

I don’t think the task of winning more games has been imperiled by a lunar new year tweet posted by the marketing department

You do realise we are lead by two women, so we can multitask now. :D

Also, you don’t want to sound like Snake Baker.

Serious?
Christ, do we need the season to start so we have something to actually analyse.
Luke McDonald has his limitations but golly gosh there was absolutely no angst in any of the clip. They were all feckin about.
