What worries me most is I just assumed these posts were on the North forum and I couldn't find them.

Might be time though for our two boards to call a ceasefire, we're just picking off bodies at the moment. I doubt many are happy with the last 24hrs.

No they were on ours, I was alerted to the fact that it was Laura Kane instead of Kane Cornes that the posts were referring to lmao so after that I took care of it.

I think we can both agree that it takes some kind of unusual operator to wander over to any oppo board, engage in an argument and expect nothing in return. I believe a couple of our posters have done it here and I counted near on a dozen of yours that have been dealt with.

I've told our posters to stay off your board, keep it in house. FWIW it's pretty obvious that a large majority of our discussion is laced with sarcasm, and if people can't grasp that I can't really help them. We're a pretty easy bunch to get along with, we are up for a bit of stupid banter and don't take much too seriously, but this situation is way overblown from all angles - media doing a terrific job of painting Clarkson as some homophobe lmao and a few posters taking the internet way too seriously.

Think we can all agree Webster should be suspended for quite a bit of time and Clarkson probably doesn't need to apologise for a heat of the moment comment but probably will roll out some fake apology to appease piss weak fans of the game that probably don't actually care about it but want to virtue signal to look like they do. It's all a bit too much to keep up with these days, it was a bad incident on-field and a nothing situation off-field. I don't believe many of our posters actually care about it so if you guys want to stay off our board it'd probably dissipate naturally anyway. Do what you like if one of our posters comes over here - I've warned them and they should have more brains than to go to an oppo board and start drama lol

It's the funny thing about the offseason, it doesn't take much to blow up and it's the oldest rule in this place, step foot on an oppo board at your own risk. And every team board has one or two that would rather rile people up, part and parcel of internet footy.

Looks like we have you guys in Rd 8 so hopefully there will be some real healthy banter and a couple of little honey traps if Webster gets 7 or under. Gives us all a reason to get to the game because who the f*** would want to be on Bigfooty during that.

Well yeah that's exactly what he is lmao. Not sure lauded is the right word, more having a laugh at him knowing the consequences of what he was doing after he'd been warned not to do it. I can tell people to not do something but can't force them not to go and do it lmao. Then once he got a week off, we took the piss out of him for it.
