Agreed.

I don’t like it either. Only go cos we play there.

The G has a heap more atmosphere and is a lot more enjoyable to watch games at.

This point relates to us and drawing a crowd.

And Docklands might be easier to drive to and is more convenient for some.

And we might draw a small crowd.

Irregardless of that - the G is a better ground than Docklands for atmosphere.

If we’re up and about, playing good footy against the best teams as we should be, then I want to see us playing under lights on a Friday at the G moreso than anywhere else.

Atmosphere is 100% in your head. Unless the stadium has noise baffling to suppress the sounds of crowd reaction, which it obviously doesn't, then you are deceiving yourself with this concept of atmosphere. As a counter argument, I challenge you to nominate which of your senses you use to detect stadium atmosphere.

Chris Scott is a massive flog

they're 8th. that's not how counting works. just because there's a 3 way tie for first, doesn't mean 4th becomes 2nd, you just jump from 1st to 4th
To put it correctly, they’re on the sixth line of betting.

How can the afl award a rising star nomination this week when 10 teams didn’t play? It’s grossly unfair. I understand overall each team will play the same amount of games but it’s much easier to stand out when there are only four games instead of 9.
Because it's the AFL

if they didn't, those 4 clubs' young players would have one fewer opportunity for the rest of the season since they have byes later on. Also, a player getting their nomination early means they can't get another one and it's that much easier for other players to get one; otherwise Sheezel and Ashcroft would've had 23 nominations between them last year. It's pretty common for the player nominated in round 1 or 2 to end up winning it, so getting one off the board now creates more opportunity for the next rung down.

but yeah, it's one of many little problems created by the stupid round zero thing.
