10.20 in for anyone who is interested.
Certainly seems that he’s not overly popular with the group. He's right. That Carlton players showed more concern for a North player in agony is damning.

I think they’re making it a bigger deal than what it is. It was picked up by some nuffy on twitter and they’re running with itHe's right. That Carlton players showed more concern for a North player in agony is damning.

Hobby horse. One doesn’t hyphenate when the noun leads.Shepherds * FFS. Sorry. It’s one of my many hobby-horses.
I actually agree with Kane. It's shocking. It can be fixed though, but it really does show the mindset of the group, bailey Scott said it after the game we didn't stay to our roles or structures. We also didn't care or look after each other. It's not a huge deal, but it still isn't good. He's one of us, he deserves some support. Clarko will make sure it won't happen again. Move on.
We don’t do the simple stuff well. Not a good look regardless of his popularity with the group. Reflective of our ill discipline against opps on-field and Clarko getting into trouble with swears, we really need to stop giving the media ammo like this. All of it contributes to an ugly picture that's being painted of the club and is relatively simple to avoid.
Im sure they are supporting him. We only seen that part. The team was trying to stay focused on the game. It's not a huge deal, but it still isn't good. He's one of us, he deserves some support. Clarko will make sure it won't happen again. Move on.
We don’t do the simple stuff well.
In any facet.
The club knew that when it decided to sack him and not just suspend him for the entire 2024 season. Quite a few of us were suggesting that he just be suspended for the year so that we could trade him or receive free agency compensation. In response, lots of people said no, no, that would send the wrong message, he should be sacked immediately. That's what the club did and we will pay a significant price for that decision. The fact TT can go to any club with no trade coming our way is a disgrace.
Sometimes you just have to take a loss and move on, The continuous foul stench he was emitting round the club simply needed to be expelled. Imo its a small price to pay for some clear air, Viney was right when he said its time to concentrate on the rest of the players. The club knew that when it decided to sack him and not just suspend him for the entire 2024 season. Sure, there were/are pros and cons for both approaches. But my post was to clarify that the club knew that it wasn't going to receive anything for Thomas once it sacked him. Not everyone understood or understands that.Sometimes you just have to take a loss and move on, The continuous foul stench he was emitting round the club simply needed to be expelled. Who shut him down?Barrett questioning on the Sunday footy if North should continue to have the Good Friday game because we are losing, thank god he got shut down pretty quickly.
