I actually agree with Kane. It's shocking. It can be fixed though, but it really does show the mindset of the group, bailey Scott said it after the game we didn't stay to our roles or structures. We also didn't care or look after each other.

It's a massive deal, shows where we are at, and need to be addressed and fixed - which is an easy fix mind you. Obviously over awed BY A TOP 4 TEAM. Hopefully it only takes a week to fix, which again is possible

Im sure they are supporting him. We only seen that part. The team was trying to stay focused on the game.

Ive seen in the past when serious injuries have occurred, captains bringing their players in and keeping their minds on the task at hand.

Sadly true. Nothing can convince me that not quickly checking in on a teammate who just snapped his foot in half was the right course of action. The Carlton players doing so instead is just embarassing for us.

They went to Goater when he went down but for whatever reason they didn't for CCJ. It was a bad look and the Carlton blokes made it worse. Being young and focused on themselves may explain it but doesn't give them an out. Certainly the leaders should have been better.

Quite a few of us were suggesting that he just be suspended for the year so that we could trade him or receive free agency compensation. In response, lots of people said no, no, that would send the wrong message, he should be sacked immediately. That's what the club did and we will pay a significant price for that decision.

Sure, there were/are pros and cons for both approaches. But my post was to clarify that the club knew that it wasn't going to receive anything for Thomas once it sacked him. Not everyone understood or understands that.
