Robbo said "hey gay boys let's go" on AFL360 back in 2019 and there is zero doubt in my mind that he's said similar things off the air throughout his life. Ever since then he's gone into hyper drive on the issue (no doubt to further distance himself from it so no one can every accuse him) - going over the top on his commentary when Phillips kissed her partner, his article on Kearney and her partner in 2021, the Clarko comments against Hawthorn and again this week. Bringing Clarkson into the Finlayson stuff repeatedly this week was ridiculous.

The Clarkson and Finlayson comments aren't even remotely close. Just another excuse to attack Clarkson and sit on his high horse and be outraged.

typical AFL. Always happy to promote the hits (especially internationally). Most of them are illegal and resulted in suspensions. If journalists had an ounce of credibility they'd call out their use of the Jy hit...that's crazy.

Logue, Goater and Bergman have all been out injured but would be in our best backline.

Priority picks should go back to being handed out based on a formula that you hit or miss. If we finish bottom 2 again it should just trigger compo rather than being put out for public opinion.

If they are meant to help teams bounce back and be competitive what has been done lately does not work. It needs to be addressed faster and better than two end of round picks that must be traded bs.

If they’re using the draw to even out the competition they need to schedule the worst teams with a winnable game early on. Confidence from winning gets momentum and better performances.

But that would mean that all sides would have to be treated in exactly the same way.

The AFL would never go for that.
