Pretty sure the decision was.made prior to the Pies game, after the Geelong abomination
It was.

We also played largely different in that game compared to how we were playing before that. We are the kings at getting a sugar rush and playing 1v1 'release the shackles' footy when the coach is sacked.

The playing group still hasn't worked out how to defend properly. It's desperate for on-field guidance. That's how far back we're coming from.

How many awful coaches in a row though, before we realise it isn’t the coaches?

Noble has been a good operator in every role except our head coach. He didn’t have a long enough run at it to prove or disprove his ability. Remember, we almost won his very last game. Raises heaps of questions about whether he had lost the players. What would have happened if we had pipped Collingwood? Still moved him on?

He is not dumb, and this was one of the better editions of Sacked.

We've had awful coaches, awful players, awful onfield leaders, awful administrators, awful recruiting staff, awful conditioning staff.

I think the awfulness is fairly well spread around Arden St. Not sure it's fair to pinpoint any one area of awful.

Maybe, but it smoothed over in that environment.

I do respect him for what he is/was - one of our and the AFL’s greats. Not just going to say he was a good leader though.
Leading is more than pats on the bum, sharing property portfolio spreadsheets and organising the end of year footy trip to be fair.

Running your guts out, standing up in key moments during games and breaking the hearts of the opposition ranks pretty highly. Boomer had that in spades.

Oh I agree in some parts that the players application and level of preparation have been disgraceful.

But these have been set in for years and years and when young players come in and see what’s going on and being accepted as standard behaviour it goes on and on and is passed down to the next group until someone breaks it

Shaw set up a timer in 2020 pre seaso the scoreboard and players had a certain amount of time to be out training and if they weren’t they couldn’t train. Amazing that this needed to be introduced.

But Rhyce coached awfully in 2020, our game style of down the line kicking was rubbish. Noble also tinkered with things in 2022 and we were really lucky to win any games at all that season.

Who did Harvey inspire to follow him?

It is all wells d good for the fans to say he is a leader. Is/was he actually a leader where the rubber hits the road?

Looks like im going for a perth trip! Look out Leederville, Northbridge and the Casino!!

And to all the staunch North WA members, that would be great for them. Yes, Duck and Co will come to Perf for a home game
Let’s do two for $500k each Freo and eagles to chip in half each to avoid leaving WA?

Only joking DuckYeah

I mean, yay for us but… what’s wrong with like a Shepparton or Bendigo game?

We might still do Shepparton or Bendigo, who knows, but Perth earns us a shit ton of money whereas nobody in Shepparton or Bendigo is going to put up at least $500k for a game.
The point is to sell the game. To make money. That’s what’s wrong with Bendigo & Shep.
All good, just wondered if there was any options of another Vic game to make money
A double up against WCE would make bank but gives them an extra advantage
