Adelaide Oval
1:15pm Friday January 19

England get their ninth attempt at beating Australia this summer on Australia Day at Adelaide Oval, where their batsmen have now twice capitulated and lost from a strong position. Their bowlers have done the job, their batsmen haven't but Sir Duncan doesn't want to mess with the top order because Bell's going so well at number 3. Then Joyce made some runs on Tuesday, Flintoff makes them most games, Collingwood can field and bowl so he gets to bat at 5, and Nixon makes a lot of noise and not many runs so he bats 7. Put all that together and England go in unchanged. Clark put some pressure back on Johnson by taking wickets in Sydney, while Hogg playing in Brisbane the night before suggests he will again be watching from the sidelines, if he even goes to Adelaide - he may go directly to Perth.

Are they playing on the same pitch at Tuesday?

Les was quick to defend it after both captains were less than complimentary.

Looked two paced to me and even broke through the crumbly surface on one occasion.

Hopefully it is hard, glassy and full of runs.

Please, please, please let Australia bat first...

If England win the toss again I will scream.

They should be banned from batting first in all ODI matches. It's not fair on the spectators.

I agree. God I hope Ricky wins the toss tomorrow. At least we'll see us bat out a full 50 overs.

Just read on Sportal that Lewis and Anderson are in doubt.
Lewis with ankle soreness and Anderson with back soreness.

If Anderson and Lewis are ruled out, their replacements will come from Chris Tremlett, Sajid Mahmood and Liam Plunkett - "and the latter is given some chance of playing despite not having bowled a ball in a match all tour.

Another 'action packed' game guys.
I so hope we do win the toss this time.

400 possible now? good that superstar cameltoe is back

The disappointing thing with this season is that this is the best I have ever bowled and I just can't seem to get a game," Hogg told The Courier Mail. "I've been told I am the No. 1 spinner and Cameron White has been in there mainly for his batting."

Pretty simple to me.
