Not a footy jumper, but there may have been some interest here:

I very much doubt that this is a match worn item. There were large numbers of Ponting shirts made up that were sold through various outlets. They were pretty much identical to what the players wore, made from sportswool, embroidered VB logo on the sleeve, sublimated name, etc. The only problem with these shirts, and I think this was done intentionally by Fila/ACB, was that the VB logo is on the right sleeve. Ponting is a right handed batsman therefore his VB logo would have been on the left sleeve, i.e. facing the camera when he took strike.

Its beyond me how a vfl heritage pi sells so cheap. A vfl geelong clash sells for 4 times more :-s
Although that seller nothing ever seems to go cheap
Id rather the vfl heritage anyday of the week

A signed '2009' Geelong training guernsey that is currently listed is:
  • Actually from 2008 (pretty important, since the listing specified 'Premiership Year')
  • Signed by a player who didn't play in the 2009 premiership
Just to let you know. I contacted the seller about this several days ago and they have neither responded to my message, nor edited the listing.
