Extremely and genuinely saddened by this. Can't even begin to imagine the pain he must be going through

Wish him and his family all the best.

RIP little one.

Best wishes to Jarrad, his wife and their family as they deal with this tragedy. As a father I had a tear in my eye reading the HS story - heartbreaking.

RIP little angel.

So, so sad to hear this news. My heart goes out to Jarrad and Clementine, and the rest of their family.

Just horrible. No words can do the loss justice. Best wishes to all those effected. Times like this the supportive environment of a footy club shines through. Jarrad will need his mates now, more than ever.

Condolences to Jarrad and his family. I'll be cheering the Swannies on this weekend.

Kudos to whoever changed the Sydney Forum description. really thoughtful.

My brother played against Mcveigh and I watched him as a kid, me being personally 5-6 years younger than him. One of my Top 5 favourite Swans and this is terrible news.

Thinking of you and your wife Jarrad and hoping you find the strength to cope with your sad loss. I can't begin to imagine how tough it must be.

Just heard about it, cryptically, in a post-match comment from the Geelong game. Wasn't quite sure I'd heard right. Horribly sad, my condolences. Sucks that it's right before Fathers Day.

All the Essendon boys wore the armbands, but that's to be expected considering the ties with Mark. I can't imagine how the family must be feeling. It's shattering just hearing about it.

I don't know whether I'm surprised or not, but I'm pretty sure Hall/Barlow didn't and Patty did.

I don't understand why anyone wouldn't. As has been said over and over, this transcends football.
