Still, we had 23 behinds, which won't do if a team like the Cats are switched on. The last 8 sides that won the flag have lost to their opponents in their previous encounter. We hit the post 6 times, and had several goals kicked against us on the counter. We couldn't hit a set shot to save ourselves. Had we done so the game would have been over by half time. We also played a man down on the bench for 7/8ths of the game.

Collingwood has the greater scope for improvement out of that match. Whether we achieve that level of improvement remains to be seen.
