It seems to be easier to pick up a KPD later in the draft though so dont think it impacts on our KPF strategy where we will likely need a highish draft pick.

Let’s face it, we need quality across every line. KPD, rebounding HBF, lock down defender for smalls, more mids, a ruck, small forward and KPF. We also need pace. So… I just depressed myself.

I can see another pick split happening.

We need quality everywhere, one young gun at pick 1 or 2 isnt going to cut it.

I'd hate to see how much Sydney would want for Logan. I would not want to give up too many picks considering where we are in the rebuild. I'd prefer hitting the draft hard this year and next.

And set my sights on someone like Logan, him and Oscar would be a great pairing. If we draft Curtin he would be our swingman but predominately CHB?
If we finish low enough Sydney would have to take what we offer if logan is out of contract.

Not that I would want to screw over Sydney. They have always been fair traders .

Port on the other hand ......

Whether it is a KPF or KPD we need one of the new generation big bastards.

A 201cm McKay/King twins type or 204cm Sam De Koning KPD type.

Does today (and all season really) indicate aKPF isn’t really a priority? Curtin as our first pick doesn’t seem exciting with Allen and Waterman coming into their breakout age, not that we couldn’t do with one but not something you spend large currency on. To a lesser extent is spending a second rounder on Georgiades really a good idea? I’d hope we take it to the draft
Curtin's absolute quality isn't known or exposed but he's not the type we need. We need a big marking contested forward who kicks bags and Curtin isn't that player.

Have you ever seen our list in such a bad place?

We wont over pay because we cant afford to.

And finishing bottom 2 means we dont need to.
It was pretty shit in 2008. We'd lost two brownlow winning midfielders and injuries were hitting our remaining premiership players. It turned around pretty quickly when we absolutely nailed 2010 draft and did a pretty good job with 2008.

We wont have to worry for at least another year, likely longer if at all.

Logan is contracted to 2024 and reports are he is happy in Sydney.

Why would he come to the Eagles when Swans are a top 4 side?

Seriously whats up fremantle and their ****ed forward line.

They've been trying to replace matthew pavlich since 2016. It's almost becoming a running gag

They are forced to play Tab which they despise. Then they selected Hogan, Lobb and Jackson.

MG now?? LOL. Jesus he isn't going to be the FWD they are looking for

Wasn't there another one before Hogan?

I have a feeling freo will go very hard for georgiades to fix their forward line issues .

Zane zakostelsky from Claremont is one to watch. Had a good first up game apparently, bit short right now for a ruck but if he grows some more and keeps improving he could be a good late pick up
