Having two confederations (CONEMBOL & CONCACAF) running it seems silly and caused many issues.


South & North America should have just the one confederation (The Americas Football Confederation). Would simplify everything. They could award 12.5 places to this confederation in a 48 team world cup. And just like Asia could have phases of qualification so poorer nations get more games against each other.
