Again does the government have someone who understands human behavior on thier panel advising them? They could have easily told them this was going to happen.

For mine the biggest learning from this whole pandemic is that people are stupid. Like... a lot of people are stupid.

He's had an abnormal result, a positive result and a negative result all within 4 days.
If his viral load is right around the threshold for detection that could do it.

Statement: McKenna returns negative result

The club has released the following statement after Conor McKenna returned a negative result to a COVID-19 test on Tuesday.

Essendon Football Club can confirm Conor McKenna has returned a negative result to his COVID-19 swab test on Tuesday, June 23.
It has also been re-confirmed that the two swab tests taken on Friday, June 19 and Saturday, June 20 were both positive results.
The club will work with relevant medical experts over the coming days to further understand these results.

Quite possible the virus is no longer in his system at detectable levels, whereas it was for the tests taken on Friday/Saturday.

He may yet test positive again later this week.
Hopefully not.

Got nothing to do with me. I have had zero impact on anything. Just lived my life accordingly and nothing has happened.

I don't sit at home with my facemask on, full freezer and toilet paper castle and pat my self on the back for trying to save the world

You say you’re not worried about the virus. But it’s not the virus that is the worry for this state. It’s the damage to everyone’s lives as the government will clearly happily change restrictions back if necessary.

I get it. I get it completely. If you are sick, then isolate, if you are not then don't.

Respect others personal space (as you should even before the pandemic), wash your hands (as you should before the pandemic), check on your elder neighbours (as you should do anyway).

To sit there and criticise those who visited their family when no-one was crook is stupidity. As I have stated, I could have seen them at the local Bunnings, Coles, park etc but no.....don't go to their house.

I was going to my brother's house and sitting outside having a few beers having a chat as we normally do. No issues there. Same as seeing them at the park.

I have not spread the disease any more than any of you who continue to look down on me.

Haha not at all, I'm just smart enough to realise alot of the rules make no sense so live you life normally as much as it makes sense. And it's worked out well for me because I'm smart and done what is easily done - let people have their space and if crook (which I haven't been) then isolate.

Self isolated for 5 days waiting for a test result, unpaid. Negative result. Back to work today and get an email tonight saying on advice from the heath department people people residing in Hume, Casey, Darebin, Brimbank, Moreland and Cardinia are not permitted to attend work until further notice. It seems rather silly given the chances of crossing paths with someone who is infected is slim. Hume, Casey and Cardinia are massive areas.
