I agree, but with that said if players have private planes and hotel floors then they may get the green light.

Because they clearly need the revenue. It's no joke - a year with no games would mean no revenue. The AFL won't survive that. They had round one greenlit and would have been fools not to take it.

This is very significant. It’s a big no confidence vote from States in Slo-Mo.

On the whole I think it's probably better the decision has now effectively been taken out of the AFL's hands.
