First of all I will say I am against the relocation of the Kangaroos, but there is a distinct possibility they will move.

So, if it does happen, would it help the Roos if they picked up Cousins in say, 2009. He will be 31, but a player like Cuz should still be match fit then and still have the talent.

By that time, you would hope he would be clean, he would be on the Gold Coast so less of the public would know him, but on the other hand he might be a drawcard to recruit supporters to the newly formed club.

Would it be worth the Kangaroos getting him in the next two years, or would they be stupid for doing it? Plus they have a lack of brilliant midfielders.

schoolies WEEK

enough with the jokes

it wouldnt be a bad move, but you would have to really look at the sustainability of the kangaroos and cousins

How about Cousins goes to the Gold Coast and North stay at Arden Street? Seriously, unless he is heading for a major life change (unlikely at his age) he may be more harm than good for the club.

With the party culture up at the GC, would it be the best place for Ben?
Guaranteed that melbourne has a bigger party culture, nightclub scene than the coast. And there really are only two small precincts where clubbing occurs on the coast, whereas melbourne's is far larger.

Unless you want to include schoolies, which of course wont matter as the players are too old and its in November.

Mate - Cousins running amock during schoolies (which occurs during the non-testing period) would be an absolute disaster for Cousins and any club associated with him. Talk about putting him in temptation's way......
