I'm more surprised he is unvaxxed but I guess we can give credit to him not being hypocritical and actually sticking to his guns I suppose.
Maybe. He does have the means to exist without vaccination though. Much like when Trump caught covid and nearly died, he has the ability to privately afford every treatment possible.

Trump also got vaccinated though, much to the chagrin of his followers

Also has the words 'vax' and 'vaxxed' now become popular enough in our collective usage that they are now acceptable dictionary words and thus valuable options in Scrabble?

Abbreviations though, so they wouldn't count?

What treatments would they be? Shouldn't they be researched for potential of widespread use?

You're welcome.

Of note:

Not recommended for COVID-19

The TGA has not approved, and the National COVID-19 Clinical Evidence Taskforce guidelines do not recommend, the following treatments for COVID-19.

Ivermectin, doxycycline, zinc

There is not enough evidence to support the safe and effective use of these drugs (separately, or in combination) to prevent or treat COVID-19.

The Clinical Evidence Taskforce does not recommend the use of ivermectin, doxycycline or zinc outside of properly conducted clinical trials with appropriate ethical approval.

Hydroxychloroquine

The Clinical Evidence Taskforce strongly recommends that people do not use hydroxychloroquine to treat COVID-19.

Hydroxychloroquine has well known risks including:

  • toxic effects on the heart (potentially leading to heart attacks)
  • irreversible eye damage
  • lowering blood sugar levels (potentially leading to coma).

Getting expensive treatments now that he’s Covid positive and experiencing symptoms bad enough to require hospitalization wouldn’t be as effective as getting vaccinated to reduce the chances of becoming Covid positive and experiencing symptoms bad enough to require hospitalization.

I assume.

And people quibbling about the difference between dying of zombie bites and dying with zombie bites.

And people insisting that people get bitten by animals all the time and getting bitten by zombies isn’t any different.

And people who are directed to stay inside to avoid zombies but decide to just wander the streets anyway because they’ve got lockdown fatigue.

And all these people yelling StRaWmAn or SeMaNtIcS whenever their ridiculousness is pointed out.

It should be a scandal that these are only available to the rich during a global pandemic.
They're meant for high risk people within certain categories. i.e. elderly, comorbidities, etc. I'm just assuming the likes of Clive will just pay their way into getting them. Although in Clive's case he would fit into one or two categories anyway.

For the crowd who say that people shouldn't take the vaccines or they shouldn't be mandated because we don't know what they might do down the track...

Apart from that shrinkage guy in the US, and another man saying he dealt with severe pain in his penis after having the virus, the main issue for people has been 'COVID dick' aka erectile dysfunction and fertility issues.

"We're seeing that this does hang around for a long period of time. The data is talking about three, maybe four to five months."

There's also research that shows COVID can impact fertility as well.

"There are very clear signals that in some people who have had severe COVID, that there could be a decrease in fertility as well. That's both within men, and most likely also within women."
