Cost in fees/ charges of switching

Ability to keep monthly contingency reserve

Value/ importance of current savings

Fact that interest rates are likely to move up anyway

How far into mortgage term are you?

Do some different scenarios - how does each look in short/ long term?

Spend a few dollars on an accountant, not a mortgage broker or financial planner.

I am prepared to provide a petting zoo staffed entirely with ponies. If you want proper beasts, thats your go. An enclosure with a few ponies is like taking a couple of your honeybadgers, roiding them up on PCP, giving each of them a kinfe and then locking them in a dark cupboard

It will be a guaranteed money spinner.
