Tough week battling the lurgy that’s going around, but coming good now.

So much so, that I might park myself on the porch today and listen to some tracks. Perhaps an IPA or two, and some BBQ action.

If you’re working, don’t work too hard.

Tales from Footscray…

There is a guy in my street who walks laps around the neighbourhood, all day, every day.

He always smiles when I pass him but never speaks. He wears the same clothes with sneakers from Kmart.

Saw him today with two older people who clearly were beaten down by years of alcohol and drug abuse.

Realised they must be his parents.

Basically the same as anything. Salt pepper lemon but served with a chimichurri sauce.

Dear J - you may need to be nice to me for a little while - having a triple bypass op Frid 26th!

Scans found damage to the heart which with modern techniques could be traced to 1964, 1966, 1970, 1979 etc etc

Good news is... i) in the cardiac ward this was on the dessert menu



ii) - last night a nice Pie supporting nurse helped me sort Kayo - watched ANZAC Day replay

Seriously, am being well looked after and should be back on BF in a week or so
