Infections already heading back down towards their previous restricted-by-masks levels, and importantly, no signs of any major hit on the hospitals yet. 🤞
Hopefully we're at the point now where we start to gain people back into the workplace faster than we are losing them.

Sounds like there are a few of us on here expecting a kid in the next couple of months.

We got out 3rd one due sometime in the arse end if july.

Kind of shitting bricks as 2 kids are hard enough and both of them are still iffy with sleeping thru the night.

Congrats and good luck.

Heading back to the office tomorrow after two weeks away, a combination of sick with covid and WFH.

Back at work for two weeks before Baby Burnside. Kinda glad my wife and I went through this now rather than with a newborn!

Reckon our littlest one has the Vidz now. Not surprising as my wife was the one to bring it into the household. Not sure if the eldest has it or not, hard to tell either way with him. And I've battled to catch it so far but get another crack at it if the kids are symptomatic I suppose!

We all have it in our household right now. Our little one (2.5) had a crazy fever for about 24-36hrs. Since then no fever but he definitely hasn't been himself with prolonged mood swings, reduced appetite.
Be glad it's staggered in your house as everyone ill at the same time is an interesting challenge

We've gone early on the Nurofen and Panadol for fever but our littlest is too young to know how to take the little syringe so that's been quite painful. Whatever little volume she gets makes her feel better but because it's not substantial she crashes within an hour.

I'm still what I assume is symptom free. Feel a bit tired but it's been exhausting with everyone else being crook so maybe just that. And now the general anxiety around the kids being crook after the wife was barely challenged by it initially.

Love your work Luuuc

Speaking of flu, was booked in to get my jab last Monday, the day my wife tested positive to covid and I decided to WFH. So I need to arange that now in my own time. Damn it, the work jabs are so convenient!
Get it done - I was similar in missing my usual work flu jab, didn't get around to finding time for it on my own, and now I've been floored all week by the regular old flu.

Yeah it's a weird one. My wife tested positive on a Monday, me on the Wednesday, our four year old, stuck at home with us while we were coughing and spluttering, never caught it.

So good to hear the little one sailed through. Been quite rough seeing the kids that crook. Frustrating too that they're too young for any vaccination protection
