Well I'm not gonna do red navy and gold, a great team already has it and other then that there aren't any other colour combos. I didn't think it was that bad anyway.
It's OK if you don't like the design but you don't have to be so harsh, just say I don't like it. If you are annoyed because I made a Melbourne Hawthorn design then don't comment, I don't want this to happen I was just designing it for the fun of it.

The best colour combination we can use is to get red of the red, and use the Brown, Gold and Navy.
I think the perfect design with these colours would be a brown yoke with a gold outline, and navy and gold stripes.
Oh, and no monogram.

If I dropped the red it would just look like a Hawks clash. And I like having the monogram there.

But with the guernsey mainly navy, that won't look like a clash...

Yeah as Mr Zero said first off, it's if the 1996 proposed merger between Melbourne and Hawthorn were to take place now.
Think about that. It took the Hawks nearly merging to motivate 15000 people to get off their butts and buy memberships! If you check out here, fans seemed pretty indifferent to joining the Hawks in the early 1990s, despite their on-field form (only missed the finals in 1995 when they bottomed out). It's a credit to the Hawks that in a decade and a half they rebuilt themselves off field, then rebuilt on field and got back to the top of the tree. As a Richmond fan, I'm envious - we were one of the "Big Four" in the 1990s, with a strong membership base... it counted for little as a succession of coaches mismanaged the list, parochialism of coterie groups arguing with the board... and constant BAD DRAFTING (Steinfort, Fiora, Oakley-Nicholls) and TRADING (Biddiscombe, Morrison, Kingsley) - any wonder other clubs are laughing at us.

The total attendance of all 1996 games for Hawthorn was 588,819 people. That is the lowest total attendance from 1986-2011. I'll check out Melbourne's total attendance for 1996.

There are several portfolios that have Sydney jumper sets as well as other teams, I'm sure you'll find one you like there.

I liked the idea of Carlton's light blue jumper at first because I like Sturt's jumper but Carlton really can't pull it off. I think their old white one was far too plain though so I came up with this idea a while ago.

Here's my few bobs worth here, based on the Saints jumper from late 90's - 00's. I've made a home, away and clash example. I used Paint since I am useless with Photoshop, so apologies if they don't look as good as they could be. I'm not too sure on copyright rules here, but I used images from footy-jumpers. Cheers.
This is the home version. I modified the back to make it all black; and also added more black to the front (Underneath the cross, was originally red).

This is the away example. This is the home jumper from the period mentioned above, however rather use it as a home jumper it is now an away jumper.
