A lot of supporters of other clubs are jealous of what we have achieved with the resources we had at our disposal, and seem to be doing again. Others don't have the IQ to see good young talent and what characteristics shown at a young age show great potential for the future.

Bagging Libba and Wallis is as short-sighted as those that have a crack at Harper.

Debating about the what ifs and what might happen is ****ing pointless. Just appreciate what we have and know that the tools who bag the kids will be eating humble pie in the future.

it's a good way to blow off steam with no actual football action occurring. The equivalent thread on our board has (not surprisingly) generated by far the most amount of traffic in the off-season, which as always is a long one.

I don't contribute much to this site but I regularly troll the boards for north discussion. When I first signed up I was totally shocked at some of the stuff being said by opposition supporters. Simply seeing posts by opposition supporters particulary those of small melbourne based clubs telling us to die and fold for no real reason. My first response was to defend the club ive supported forever, but after a while you realise there isnt much point because its the same redneck ignorant dogs/dees/random interstate teams poster and all they are after is a reaction.

I liked this Freudian slip from an Essendon supporter -Kaiser Power - about Josh Caddy and their chances of getting him back.

We have a father son selection first round this pick, so we will have virtually nothing to offer for him, unless we can trade away players for picks, which I can't see happening.

Basically admits that apart from Hurley, who'd they'd never let go, there's not a lot on the Essendon list that other teams are slavering over.

Even Jobe Watson and especially Zaharakis wouldn't be worth more than a late first rounder and steak knives in the form of a Benny Warren type.

I believe its the "bully syndrome." Bullys are often bullied themselves and are looking to reflect the attention on others. Supporters of loser clubs with little to no success, totaly damaged souls who are just trying to feel important and the easiest target is us, the small Melbourne based club with a "poor" perception.

I don't get angry, im convinced it's not if we win a flag with this group but when and the off-field stuff looks as if its going in a positive direction, alot of idiots are going to have eggs on there faces over the next 5 years or so.
