North Adelaide, Arsenal.
As a 20 year old and having supported the Crows since 2002, what has made very proud as a fan has been our excellent attendances as fans and support for the team. Over the last 3 years the move to Adelaide oval has allowed our club to top the average attendances table, being first in both 2014 (48,046) and last season (47,056) while 3rd in 2015 (46,487). With our fixtures long been announced and having looked at our opposition and time slots i think its very possible we could hit 50K average attendance by the end of the home and away season. Here's by estimations and reasoning for each team we play next season. I've taken into account we will finish in the top 4 this year.

GWS
Sunday afternoon: 48,701
(A low drawing club, doesn't bring many away supporters, but first game of the season everyone will want to be their also considering their one of the favourites for the flag)
Essendon Saturday night: 51,237
(A lot of fan fare around the Bombers with their comeback story, their fans will travel plus Saturday night a good time slot)
Richmond Sunday twilight: 45,537
(Rubbish time slot against a rubbish team, but they have a great and loyal support Richmond, expecting this to be our lowest attendance of the season)
Melbourne Saturday night: 47,783
(A team on the up and I believe they will do well this year the demons, could be a very interesting game when this one arrives)
Fremantle Saturday night: 47,924
(Its indigenous round, its Saturday night, its EDDIES night, expect to see the goal of the year for the 3rd year in a row)
St.Kilda Friday night: 50,203
(Big crowds always apparent on Friday night footy, St.kilda expected to be in the top 8 this year, this game could have a lot riding on it)
Hawthorn Thursday night: 50,741
(Hawthorn always bring big crowds to Adelaide oval, expect this to be the same)
Bulldogs Friday night: 52,231
(Always big crowds when you play last year's premiers)
Geelong Friday night: 53,021
(Had our record attendance against Geelong last year, expect another similar crowd)
Port Power Sunday twilight: 50,271
(Its a Showdown)
Sydney Friday night: 53,112
(last game of the year, could decide places in the top 4, always big crowds when we play Sydney, could be an absolute cracker)
Total: 550,761 Avg: 50,069 Thoughts?

Excellent time slots for the 2nd year in a row. It's like the 90s again.
Love the fact we have 4 Friday nights and a Thursday night, plus 3 Saturday nights. Barring the weather i think all will be very well attended games.

Well presented and well thought out. I went with 47 average. I think your 50+ games may just make high40s. But you had a go so well done :)
Hard to predict considering how we will perform next season, weather impacting games. Based my attendances off what i saw last season and the friendly time slots and team were playing against. Most of them seem to be top 8, top 4 contenders, should be big crowd pullers.

Not good for young kids though :(
4 of our top 5 attended games last year were night games, only the showdown against port was the exception
53,141 v Geelong Friday night
51,585 V port Saturday afternoon
51,330 V Sydney Saturday night
50,785 V west coast Friday night
50,012 V Collingwood Saturday night

I hope you are right with the 50+ average that would be a great achievement, I like your break down I suppose one of the major things that effects crowds and is impossible to predict is the weather. For example last year when we played North Melbourne on Thursday night and it was meant to blow a gale and hail etc but it all missed us, I think we got 37,500 had the weather been better we would have got 10k more to that game.

I watched a reply of our Hawthorn game yesterday, it was a friday night game. Dennis Commetti said that crows havent won a friday night game since 2009 - and ironically that was against hawthorn. Dunno if we won any of the friday games this year. We lost the two that are in the list of biggest crowds in your other post.

Perhaps worrying that we can probably bank 4 losses just on friday night games alone!

Richmond 2015 was a Friday night game we won
St.kilda 2012 was friday night game we won
Geelong 2010 friday night game
We've won a few since 2009

Ah, ok. When I scan through and see the words "Sunday" or "twilight" or worse still "Sunday twilight" are minimal, I'm happy.
Ive planned ahead at work, I have booked annual leave days after the twilight sunday games for this year.. nothing worse than having to go to work after the sunday twilight on a Monday. final siren goes around 6:50pm... which means I have to be at work almost exactly 12 hours after that lol.. not enough time to digest the result! glad there's only 2 this year

I think there is a risk season ticket numbers could drop.
Alot of friends I know are a bit annoyed with the cost increases of membership and games as well as the continued ripping off for food and drink at the oval. Some for the first time were umm and erring about this year.

Prices rise when teams are playing well, when your watching a team that wins 16 games and plays finals its natural and sort of understandable to increase prices. I do agree with u on the food prices at Adelaide oval however the club can't do anything about that, it's the job for the federal government to put pressure on stadium management to get it down to more reasonable prices.

Look at what West Coast has done due to popularity. Will be interesting to see how things change for them with the 20,000 increase in capacity with the new stadium.

Always been a rip off in the States...we just learned to eat BEFORE going to the game. If you are waiting for prices to come down---trust me, that is never happening.

As for crowds..I expect around 50k ....the wild card is always weather. But assuming it is fairly decent no reason the place won't be packed night in and night out.

Should become a Falcons fan ;)

2016 at Georgia Dome - Hot Dog - $5.50, Soda - $4

2017 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium - Hot Dog - $2, Soda - $2 (with unlimited refills)

http://www.chicagotribune.com/sport...ower-food-prices-hot-dogs-20160517-story.html

According to an annual survey by Team Marketing Report, the average lowest price for a hot dog at an NFL stadium last season was $5.29 and the average lowest price for a soft drink was $4.79 — more than double the planned Mercedes-Benz Stadium prices.

In the Georgia Dome, the least expensive prices last season for hot dogs and soft drinks were $5.50 and $4, respectively, according to figures provided by the Dome.
For example, hot dogs, popcorn and soft drinks will be available for $2 — the latter with unlimited free refills — and nachos, peanuts and waffle fries for $3 when the stadium opens in 2017.

I will be attending 12 games this regular season
Away Showdown
An away game in Melbourne (probably Collingwood)
And all Friday-Sunday home games

Best fixture I've ever seen personally for me with time slots (ie. Anything but ****ing Saturday afternoon/twilight)

Only reason I'm missing the Thursday night game vs Hawthorn is I'm travelling (out of the country for bye weekend, Hawks home and Carlton away game)
Had to make that sacrifice

I'm just annoyed that the drafts for the saafl fixture has their bye the week before the Crows bye. So I miss 3 weeks of umpiring when I planned my holiday under the hope of only missing 2.
