I have been around for a long time. Im willing to give it a shot. living in portugal i tend to be up on here by myself while everyone is asleep. so i can put some of that time to good use.

I think the unwritten rule is if you post in the politics thread you're automatically ineligible for 5 years

Probably two posters who don't take themselves too seriously and are reliable, as well as posting a lot, would be froggy and spenze but if someone becomes a mod their posts are usually not the same too so that would be a loss, but then again Wayne has gone from hardly posting to posting prolifically as a mod, so perhaps it would enhance their posts!

I stood down as took on a CFO position & didn't have the time to commit to moderate.

Clearly you are an alias of someone i banned for fighting regularly with another poster detailing threads & still bitter after decades.
