-Drill baby drill…. into Samcro24 ‘s suspiciously clean infraction record.

-Conduct mass deportations of Port Adelaide supporters — starting with One Great C*** (that’s Club).

-Be a dictator…. but only on day one. Permabans for all Glenelg supporters.

-I’ll bring back Sanders and appoint him as the head of the Department of Moderating Efficiency.

When selecting the replacement moderator, I reckon there's a single requirement. Moderators of a club board should at least show some interest, by posting and offering their opinions in the forum that they're moderating. If you are a moderator, but not actually interested in posting your opinions, then it's time to go.

Elite Crow would have been a pretty good mod. He had some very good balanced opinions and never started beef with anyone.

Shame he isn't around anymore.

I think he's George Kramer and he's still an argumentative sod. Would be a terrible mod.

Wasn't up to it, as I'm sure he'd admit in hindsight, took himself too seriously

Probably two posters who don't take themselves too seriously and are reliable, as well as posting a lot, would be froggy and spenze but if someone becomes a mod their posts are usually not the same too so that would be a loss, but then again Wayne has gone from hardly posting to posting prolifically as a mod, so perhaps it would enhance their posts!

Moderators should demonstrate an ability to handle balanced debate without teeing off at anyone who dares oppose the narrative. I dont think they need to contribute. People just want to know their opinion will be heard and wont be trolled against.

If your only involvement to the discussion is as moderator, instead of putting your opinions out there, ie Drugs are bad Mackay, then you're engaged for the wrong reason.

a mod is to make sure people are adhering to the rules of the board. In other words are they swearing and name calling. Is there 50 posts on McHenrys life outside of football backing up the r1 2025 thread. I dont see what contributing has to do with that.

It's hard, mods shouldn't be wedded to a single position. The first elimination round is anyone that actually puts their hand up, wanting this gig is a major warning sign. I guess I'll do it if the rest of the applicants don't pass muster.
