Purchased these two yesterday to replace my old all black raptor head snap back

Yeah, weird. I'm guessing the red, white and greens are not numbered or fitted and are used purely as bibs for small drills? Seems like it'd be easier to just have one each.

Better for the club to manage it. If you leave it in the hands of the individual then it’s open to things like:

• Players leaving them at home
• Players forgetting to wash them
• Players selling them for a bit of cash on the side (yep!) or gifting them to friends/family

Also but probably less importantly, saves a bit of cost. Kits can be shared among the playing group rather than 1 of each type of training guernsey for each player with the unused ones sitting idle.
