Toast Crows pushing for 60,000 members in 2014

Anyone seen what the crows have done for the Suns game next weekend? Sign up as a boundary line member, get free access to suns game + members polo + members kit. Great deal but cant see them making much from it.

The AFL does an audit later in the year re: membership numbers. That's the one that matters.

Clubs release their annual reports - this has membership revenue published.

Even in that audit there is disparity.

Five three game membersships increases the raw figure more than one Essential Gold 11 game membership.

But the 11 game membership generates more revenue.

Gee - I wonder where they got that idea from?

That article that was published in the Age a week or so ago was a good one. Just shows that 50k West Coast supporters dwarf 65,000 Hawks supporters in revenue because they are all 11 gamers and all pay very high prices for the membership/tickets. I honestly think Crows membership revenue will push them past Collingwood into second this year and Port would be half a chance to break into the top 5.
Which Is why the afl should publish afl equivalent memberships. Ie 11 x 3-game memberships = 3 equivalent full year memberships.

So Boundary Line members get more member benefits than 11 game/Essential Crows members

Typical AFC administration

As andrew23 said its just the normal pack for boundary line members, I am one and got the polo shirt and bag with it at the start of the year.

The difference between this and what other clubs do is that this applies to existing boundary line members, I got the email a couple of weeks ago, free standing entry to the Suns game with my existing membership card.

So its not really like the Collingwood model of sell some merchandise that just happens to come with access to a game and your a member because these type of packages usually only apply to new members who sign up to that specific deal. Its a bonus for existing members.

It does make it better value though.

Congratulations to the Membership Department.

Member tally updated to 53,779.

Now if only Sando would start to take notice of my suggestions in the team changes thread .

I got my mum a 3 game membership for her birthday and it seemed like she got more benefits than my 11 game membership also...
new victorian members this year got a free club polo shirt

existing members got jack shit

I get 8 more games than them. I'm happy with that.
Same
The only thing I use from my membership pack is the lanyarn and the membership card.
Though, the season review pride is good as well (Cant give a shit about the other 2/3 we get)

Gold Victorian Members got a hat and a seat cushion. When I saw the seat cushion I laughed and then I cried...
We got seat cushions for 11 game membership too. I've not seen one of them at Adelaide Oval to date. In fact, I haven't seen mine since I took it out of the parcel.

I haven't been over that side, but it makes perfect sense as to why someone would use it for that purpose. Can still think of better things they could have given us instead.

I agree. I do like the hat I got as a gold member though. I far better quality than the one we got a few years back. I actually wear this one to games.

Ideally I reckon we should get a Cap, Polo Shirt and Scarf each year with out membership. The rest of the stuff is crap. Laynard included, keep your ticket in your wallets lol.

Guilty as charged.

A man has to have a pre-game drink or two.

Yeah I have spent the last few games watching from the Ridings bar at the window. But last week we got a seat, I think we will do that more often and maybe use the ass cushion to reserve some seats as the boys have a few drinks, and my lemonade.

I wouldn't worry too much about the extra shirt and bag that come with the boundary line and 3 game packs, the shirt isn't even the official members polo, its just a cheaper looking version with one logo and the bag is pretty much something that you wouldn't pay more than a few dollars for anyway.

I guess 3 game members pay nearly $30 a game in the standing area and no Sydney or Showdown access while 11 game GA members pay closer to $20.
