The first 4 rounds were just lame and ugly, we showed a little promise vs Melbourne and I believe we have never lost to Carlton at Marvel.

We never seem to win games like this. It's been a problem for many years, we certainly have less than half our games by less than a kick.

Thanks Sam Berry for been so cool and calm under extreme pressure.

0-4, it is very hard to come back from. But finally we know we'll not have a winless season!

It's a tough season ahead, but we can get a few wins under the belt before the showdown.

You find out a lot about players in tight finishes like that.

Berry wanted to be in everything. He was hungry. Sure, he had fresh legs as the sub, but that doesn’t explain that level of hunger.

Laird? Not so much.

I think we know what needs to happen there. It won’t, but we know now.

How about the reaction on the bench for Berry's goal? Everyone absolutely pumped except Laird who's sitting there like he's in an accounting lecture

Does if he coaches like that.

Crucial times Sog and Rankine in the middle.

Give Dawson a role on Cripps and then unleash him.

Better forward play.

What a painfully low bar we have set for Nicks if a good coaching effort is giving meaningful midfield minutes to Sog and Rankine.

And it was Dawsons idea on how to play Cripps.
